  1. Still knockin' and the door is starting to open.
  2. Knock, knock, knockin on SEVENs door!
  3. Versions of that play have been going around for years. Usually the QB takes the ball, runs toward his coach screaming "Coach, wrong ball!" He then takes off when he gets to the sideline. As a youth coach, I personally think it's bush league to run those plays but they work. Here's my vote for the best touchdown. One of our own young OFNer's: An OFNer running for 6
  4. That water is tough if you're going there for the first time or if you have't spent a ton of time trying to learn it. We do okay, some years better than others. The slot is definitely putting bigger fish in the boat. There are areas where I fish that consistently produce a daily limit of walleyes. However, some days are just slow. We move on to target other fish and the smallies and largemouth aren't tough to find when the walleye bite is slow.
  5. Steelers. THE only team with SIX and more on the way.
  6. Thanks guys. It was a great trip and I can't wait for the next one. For a 7 year old, he's a very impressive fisherman already. He caught the largie draggin a rat across the pad, the walleyes and smallies were caught jiggin and the pike he caught tossin a little cleo. He threw a Calcutta/8 foot heavy rod and Eagle Tails hoping to get a muskies. He makes me very proud. At his age, I was using a float and worm catching sunfish.
  7. As alot of you know, my son Dawson, loves to fish. This year we took him on our annual trip to the Upper French/Lake Nipissing. With my dad, brother, me and now Dawson, we had 3 generations up there. I still remember being about his age and my first trip. This one was priceless. Thanks to TJ for some cold beer and a great breakfast. We didn't get to target muskies like we usually do but the walleye fishing was simply excellent. Alot of bigger fish were caught and we had plenty to eat. Dawson did throw some big bucktails for awhile on a musky rig but he didn't like to do it very long. We did raise three muskies in a very short time but most of the time was spent bass, pike and walleye fishin. He caught a nice walleye on just his third cast of the trip. He was casting so hard at one point, he fell in the lake. He caught snakes and frogs and had a blast. I'll never forget this trip. Here are some of the pictures:
  8. Just got back. Fishing was fantastic and I hope to get a report up soon.
  9. You're eating fresh smuggled eggs? Crook.
  10. You guys in Canada are learing what we found out last year in Pittsburgh.
  11. I'm interested in any opinions as to the best was to remove trailer rust. It's a little more than just surface rust and it seems to have gotten much worse after a winter being stored underground in an old mushroom mine. I'd like to get as much as possible off and either repaint it to just touch it up. Thanks in advance.
  12. I'm envious bud. Place looks great and I'm sitting at my keyboard thinking "Man, would that be nice."
  13. The weed growth should accelerate and it will be pretty thick by summer. You may see some more developed beds in June.
  14. Jason is right Lew, that's Sandy Haven. I'm crossin' my fingers. I fear I may get introduced to some new rocks that I didn't know existed over the last 30 years.
  15. There's some pain there. Not as much as when the Steelers lose.
  16. Congrats to the Habs. They earned it. As for your fans, please realize the Habs earned it and the rest of the world isn't against your boys. Despite your incessant whining, that team is good! I hope you win the Cup!
  17. They earned it and they got our support. Beat the Bruins!
  18. Unfortunately for my Pens, the Habs have proven that as long as they stay out of the box, they are in every game. I cringe with every defensive turnover because I know the Habs can convert. Even though Flower has made some great saves, he can't help but get too aggressive at times and be a half second out of position. We've been pretty lucky so far but . . . This one is hardly a done deal. Oh and, by the way, WAKE UP KID!
