  1. Let's see: - Fire? - Wrecked Trucks? - Booze? - Half naked men around a campfire? and - TJ? I wanna know the real story!
  2. Thanks Terry and Cliff. Hate to disappoint Roy but the old man fixed it before I had to take pics. He said he'll take care of your comment the next time you meet.
  3. I can get it tomorrow. It's parked at my dad's house and he's tryin' to figure it out.
  4. I have an older boat with a manual and auto switch for my livewell. It has worked great until I stupidly pulled the wires off of the two way switch and the "MIN" "MAX" dial. The two way switch is supposed to jump over to the dial and I just can't get the right combination. I have tried the best I could to get the wiring right between the switch and the dial but I can't get it to work. Is there anyone out there who could give some help? I appreciate any thoughts. Thanks in advance.
  5. Here they are everyone. Enjoy. POLISH MISTAKES 1 lb. ground beef 1 lb. hot bulk sausage 1 lb. Velveta cheese (cut in chunks) 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. oregano 1 Tbsp. Worchestire sauce 2 loaves party rye Brown meats separately and drain. Combine with cheese and seasonings. Cool slightly. Spread on bread. Preheat oven to 350. Bake for 15 minutes. CHICKEN DIP 1 can of Canned Chicken 1 8 oz.package of Cream Cheese 2 cups Shredded Colby Jack Cheese ½ cup Barbecue Sauce or Hot Sauce, depending on preference 1 cup ranch dressing Mix all Ingredients (I make sure the chicken is shredded) and heat at 350 degrees until its melted and hot. Stir frequently. Serve with tortilla chips. You can add more chicken, cheese or sauces if you want. I added more chicken and shredded cheese than called for by the recipe at Lakair.
  6. Chuck, I'll get them up soon under a different thread. I gotta make some calls first to make sure I'm right when I post them.
  7. Outta sight Tref. That was an outstanding report. Great to see Monique, Avery and Jaden enjoying themselves.
  8. Thanks for that Studdly. Very nicely done.
  9. It was great to meet you Rich. We Keystone State boys (and gals) made quite a showing.
  10. I would just like to say that this year's Lakair trip was magical. For the first time, my 5 year old son, Dawson, made it to Canada. The members of this board are so special. You made him feel so special. He came home with more lures than his daddy owns. Special thanks to TJ, Monique, Avery and Jaden for making him feel so special. Thanks to Roy, John, Rick, Lew, Spiel and everyone else who were so good to him. I know I'll leave somebody out and I apologize. Everyone was so great. I probably don't need many words with these pics because they obviously speak for themselves but here goes: Dawson's first Canadian fish. Think he's happy? His first "pickeral", which ended up in his belly: Another one. Geez, they're getting bigger: Dawson and his pappy with their tournament entries. Pappy had two but one was released at the dock. Dawson with his entry. Hmmm, I wonder how many Dad caught (thanks Spiel and TJ). Another one of them Canadian fish: Dawson and TJ cooking up Dawson's first pick: Pappy trying to pull off the country gentleman thing: Glen trying to teach Dawson some southern arson things: The little guy fished on that dock until he figured out how to cast one of those things: Finally, three generations of Dietz's. Truly unbelievable. Thanks again everyone. It was a blast.
  11. Having just got back from the West Arm where everyone was catching pike, I can tell you to downsize your lures right now. The big pike came on small cranks and Mepps spinner. Smaller baits are working now. I wouldn't work the weedy shorelines. Look for open weedbeds and troll or cast those. Good luck.
  12. That was a heckuva fish Mike. It was great meeting you.
  13. Was great to meet you both. I'll get those recipes to you . . . and anyone else who wants them.
  14. Great job, Mo.
  15. Lew, Outstanding fish bud. I want to thank you for the kind gestures up there. Dawson had a blast. On the way home, he had my computer and was looking at all the fishing pics I have. As he was browsing, he saw the pic of your big one on the Ottawa/Larry. He got so excited and said "Dad, I know him. Wow, he does catch big muskies!"
  16. Tref, Words can't express my thanks. Dawson had the time of his life and watching him, all 5 years of him, enjoy himself was magical. He never once complaied about being in the boat all day (he was the only one in the boat that wanted to fish in the downpour) and seeing the smile on his face with his first fish (rockbass) and his first pickeral and pike made his daddy and grandpapd so proud. You played a huge part too helping him cook his fish and being a great host. The members of this board are unbelievable. Those of you who were there need to know the impact you had on my little boy's life. Thanks a ton. TJ, make sure you thank Jaden, Avery and Monique too. With any luck, we could be inlaws some day.
  17. Nicely done Rob. Gotta say tho, you don't look much like your avatar. Thanks for the great report and it was great to meet you.
  18. Nice job Kelvin. That's what the board is all about!
  19. Congrats on the great trip. Great report.
  20. Glad to hear things are getting better. Also glad you all had a safe trip. Pine pollen eh? Are you sure about that?
  21. Great report Lexx. You and your family are some very fine people.
  22. They will be cold and waiting for you Roy. May have to wait till Friday a.m. to meet the little guy though.
  23. You're on the money bud. It's always an adventure for me. This time is a little more of an issue with the youngin comin up. I gotta make sure I have all the things the wife wants me to bring (sunscreen, warm clothes, juice boxes, etc) AARGH! Can't wait to take off . . .
  24. I miss the Snoozer Roadkill Camo Garlic tube. They went out of business but they did catch fish. I haven't found one close.
  25. Leavin here around 5 am on Thursday. Depending on the number of stops with the youngin, we should be there no later that 3:30-4:00 pm.
