The bottom line is they put the lives of the rescuers at risk because of stupidity !!!! When they might have been needed elsewhere where there might have been a real serious accident !!!! You can't fix stupid .......

Just make sure you follow the regs and slots as the ministry does frequent those lakes as mentioned and I was there yesterday and be very aware if where you are as the current from the river that joins all those lakes is going pretty good and with all the melt it can be dicey just pay attention where the locals are or ask cause they know where to go on grass lake for years there is always a group of huts only a hundred yards or so from open water !!!!! They hae been fishin there for years ....and remember the saying "if you don't know don't go" and you will live another day !!!! I drove around Haliburton yesterday and there was lots of huts and guys out fishing but like I said mostly locals and the guys I talked to said just be aware and be careful some lakes looked a lot darker than others ..... FYI !!!!! And with all this rain things change quickly ??????

Well so far this year the adults involved get the Darwin Award for sure !!!!!! And ya to endanger the kid is another kick in the asshat award lets see what happens today it has rained hard and still is here in bobcaygeon and sturgeon lake is looking pretty dark in spots !!! I didn't see any open water yesterday up in Haliburton in fact they are still out in their shacks and one guy told me he has 8 inches at his hut on kashagawigamog lake and seen huts on a few smaller lakes up there as well the locals up here on sturgeon lake moved their few huts off on Friday !!! Good call for them not sure about pigeon lake there was a few huts out there the river in bobcaygeon is open a fair bit into the lake very dangerous areas and the lower Trent is predicting possible flooding they will be releasing water today

When I said both versions I meant the desktop version as well ad the mobile version !! I didn't have to change anything when the board changed it did it automatically on the mobile version as well !!!! To upload pics just send them to photobucket then paste img code back to ofc and you are good to go !!!! I use my iPhone to access it more than my laptop way faster !!!!

It's always the same most cops know nothing about fishing regs or practices !!!! They try and think they do but they don't !!! Another member from the board and I were fishing scugog and the cops came up to us while we were trolling and seen my floating marker bouys out that were marking a weed edge and he hassled me unreal telling me they were not even legal !!!!! Hahaha he didn't even know what they were !!!! Just clowns ..... They should stick to knowing cop stuff not about fishing or related stuff like ice safety and gear .....

funny pic !!! ya in the days before i had a boat with a livewell i have had snapping turtles eat the fish off a stringer hanging in the water over the side of tyhe boat waiting to be cleaned !!! i have also lost a minnow bucket,off the dock but im thinking it was a otter as we could see tracks on the dock and the chew marks in the rope,i have also had ospreys dive and swoop at the fish on the stringer in the water !!!! all leassons learned many years ago .....

here is my brand new 2012 Chevy silverado LT Z71 5.3V8 4x4 very happy and it pulls my sleds and lunds like they are not even there !!!! I looked at all 3 brands and went with the Chevy !!!! Ford was going to be the one but decided with Chevy just my personal choice !!!! Love it

There's walleye bass and pike perch and lake trout !!!!! It's easily accessible stay away from the bridge and the northeast section where the river comes in !!!!! The locals usually put their huts down the southeast side !!!! But the other lakes in the area are a better option like grass lake and maple !!! Both easily accessible I have fished them all for bass and walleyes !!!!

Get a windlass tip up !!! You can bend the fins and the wind will jig them for you they are awesome just google it for a picture they sell them at Canadian tire and just about every bait shop by now !!!! Just sayin!!!
