Great report guys !!!! nice size walleyes too,and it sure is nice scenery up there too,glad you got those finicky eyes all figured out, now go and get yourself a handheld GPS !!!!so you can mark all those humps & shoals so you can keep going back time & time again,and you can even set an ice-hut right there on that spot !!! cheers

Yes it was a great dinner and auction,a few of my freinds from gagnons went to the dinner,as well i have met big jim several times,and even fished right beside him on the ottawa river!!!!...its sad that he has cancer,he is in good spirits,and continuing his cemotherapy but from what me friends said he cant travel very far,but will keep going through his treatment,so i wish him well,and to beat this dam cancer !!!

Well i left oshawa about 4am down the 401 to picton for my first walleye outing this fall,it was quite cold first thing,but it was a nice sunny day to be on the water,i met up with don & mike from ottawa a.k.a badger shark,and i set up my lines just east of the ferry,well it was a tough morning with just 1 small fish,and thats it,but man i sure was marking fish down deep,40ft plus !!!! and i was putting lures right to them for hours,and no takers,but after seeing bait at that depth several times i stuck to that program,and i knew sooner or later,one of those big hooks on my graph were walleye and that there was got to be one that was hungry !!!so i thought,well after doing tons of lure changes,i knew it wasnt the color,so i just rode it out,and had most of the 3 or so miles of adolphus reach east of the ferry all to myself,so after several hours, Down dips the in-line planner board,and after feeling several head shakes i had a nice fat fall quinte walleye on !!!!so after i landed him,i hooked back up with don & mike above the ferry,and they took a few nice pics of my fish before i released him to grow,and be my next 14lber !!!!...lol..lol.. so all in all it was nice to get down there for the first of many fall trips to the bay,and my back seemed to hold out pretty good,as im feeling a little stiff,but none the worse for wear !!! so im sure there will be lots more fall reports to come, hope you enjoy the picture....cheers shawn here is a picture of don & mike here is a pic of the ferry crossing in front of me,as you can see it was a very nice morning before the wind came up

Sad news indeed,i have probly seen them 10 times in total,they have played in whitby at the wingshack,and at iroquos arena several times,and myself my girlfriend,and a fellow teacher friend were having a beer with him only 6 months ago !!!! he knows the band very well,and partys with them quite regularly,and they said that frankie had cleaned up alot in the last year,and did rehab a few times,and was doing very well !!! so it comes as a suprise to many im sure !!! rest in peace frankie gonna have me some kinda fun !!!!

Awesome fishing trips/reports don !!!! ...well it sure looks like you have been on them for a few weeks,as well as those very healthy smallies,they are some very decent big fall quinte walleyes,for sure bud !!!! i see that last week it was pretty rough out there too,and its alot better this week,the conditions look almost perfect !!! i sure hope to meet up with you down there this fall,i thin k we could sure put a good hurtin on them quinte eyes !!!! thanks for the report don,i dont think anyone else has been on fish like you guys have....its proof again that hard work,and planning pay off big time bud !!!! ....cheers
