While salmon fishing several miles off shore,i have seen probly rainbows,or coho pushing a big school of boatfish right to the surface,and man there tens of thousands of small baitfish jumping right out of the water,as well as big boils from whatever was pushing them to the surface,and ive seen it sometimes at least several hundreds of feet in diameter !!!! it looks totally awesome when you seeit,i think i have some pictures of them i will have alook !!! cheers

My 6"6" browning 85 million modulous graphite rod !!!! its just as good as my shimano crucial !!!!,and i have a 15yr ols shakespear 7ft sigma 98.5% graphite rod, and i still will use it for walleyes,its jsut got that amazing feel that i like as well as a fast action tip....and i think it was only like $50 bucks when i bought it at luck lou's.great topic too,its neat to hear all the old or different rods that we all still use....cheers

My bud has the panasonice plasma vierra,and its incredible, several big box electronice stores said its the best all round tv !!!! it sure looks nice he has the 50 inch !!!

Well like the M.N.R has already said,if they do make it to the great lakes,and get established fishing as we know it is gone forever !!!!they will take over everything,DAM ASIAN CARP !!!

Well they still got off lucky,i think if they were to start taking their fishing gear & boats too,they would not be doing that crap,the MNR should start making examples of these morons !!!

A few nice fish & even nicer scenery !!!. ..that river looks amazing,you will probly have that back lake all to your self too,it looks like a great hunting area as well,im suprised you didnt see any deer 0r black bears,and that was a big,long walk holy man if i did 20km in the bush i think i would have a stroke,or at the very least a heart attack !!!...cheers

Well you could do it several ways: put a nice 9.9hp kicker motor on your boat,or troll with your bow-mount ,or pull 2 drift bags,on either side of the boat,if you have a 24volt system,or even better a 36 volt system you should be able to troll for a day no problem !!!or you can put a trolling plate on your big engine,but i would not recomend that as they are usually for boats with less hp., most trolling guys go with a kicker,but it depends on how much you are going to troll,and how much you will pay for a kicker...cheers

Nice fish carole !!!! well done,and you had to know it was going to happen sometime,everyone who has ever wore wadders,for a few years has went for a little dunking !!!! you did it better than me,i went in head first one time after tripping on a root,along a creek bank with a drop of about 4 ft right into a trout hole where 5 or so people were fishing !!!! so much for the peace & quiet till i got there !!! but good going girl...cheers

I was checking out a new curado at my local tackle shop today !!! man are they ever sweet !!! they are so light,and have 7 bb,and they are painted in green metallic...i was gonna buy it right on the spot !!! lol..lol..thanks for the info on the new lebaron catalogue !!...cheers

Great day on the water !!! some very impressive smallies for sure,and paul is a great guy as well as a great fisherman too,he fishes the niagara river almost everyday of the year,the guy is a machine,he never puts his boat away !!!

ITS about time bud !!!! i know we will catch lots of fish in it too,we will have to do our maiden voyage in it this weekend dropshotting for smallies !!!!
