I don't follow them or know what they are talking about, but they can surely disrupt traffic. At 5 I head north to Hwy 7 as fast as possible! We'll see how many of these "protesters" come out in the rain tomorrow!

Again I know what you are going through. I lost my mom in March after six weeks of being diagnosed she had never been sick in her life. We were told the same day that nothing could be done and "if you fight this war the end will be the same." An amazing Dr helped us out (Dr Vincent Miada Google him) She didn't suffer at all and after the life she had we didn't want to see her suffer. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst. -

Our thoughts are with you for sure. Dave, I know what you are going through, I took my mother to the hospital last Feb 14, Had never been seriously sick in her life (90) Except for a broken leg. In six weeks we lost her. I have a sister in law who is five years free of the it. All will work out well. There is so much they can do now. A -

thanks Irish, for me he changed the way we create any typesetting material/advertising . . . I'm happy to have been involved in the transition from metal typesetting to computer produced type. And I've contributed with helping develop/produce type faces we use today. Google Les Usherwood and see what we did about type design and production. I'm now sitting typing this on an iPad. Try that with any PC siting in a corner or basement. BTW you build great planes since you are still flying them, I'm sue Leah will have a lot more to say.

Any of us with a Mac, iPhone, iPad and so on will miss his inventions. I've enjoyed the Mac for years (I have 4) and our workplace is covered with them.

F&A help me out here. When you have time or one of our Y&R's finest come down to Islington and Woodbridge ave. at around 5:45 pm and see the jackasses blow through the intersection and make a u turn around the island instead of waiting their turn to make a left at the light. One night last month I was first And one pulled the stunt on me and I slowed so he had to stop after his illegal U turn he had the nerve to give hand signals. BTW I took note of the vehicles, BMWs, high end Nissans and the last birdbrain a Benz. I drive a Jeep Compass. These people are dagerous. If you want a hint, park on the south side of the bridge and just wait $$ are there for the taking.

I live on top of the hill at Rutherford and 27, I know what you mean Tybo lots of people coming over the hill at 100! Learned my lesson in 73 when I got my last speeding ticket. There is no need to speed. I just saw a situation at 7 and 27, guy stopped at 27 (red) going north and guy going east took his front end off!

I save Bathurst for the occasional Winter commute. Two lanes, no hills and lots of places to stop in case of problems . . .

The best commute is Woodbridge to Newmarket on a clear/crisp fall day up Weston Road, come to think of it I'm doing it Saturday!
