  1. B, I should have been dead by now. I was on a machine at over 50 km at 9th Line and when we stopped he took out "spud" and two hits it was water at leat two km out have come too close to dieing a few times. I've been on ice with John Powers where huts on flew by us in Owen Sound by the grain elevators! Now Imthink back were we nuts? But fun yes!
  2. Hold on B, lot of time yet, I'm with Terry need good ice before we try to kill ourselves!!
  3. not a good way to predict winter Bruce! Does he do it often? maybe he could become a weather person! Cold feet nearly do me in!!!!!
  4. Irish, I must have gotten the last good batch lol. Bought them in 2004 and still going, mind you I've had to cut out some bad sections and rejoin them but still good to go and it was from CT. I don't think CT is the blame for poor quality. I'll ask when he (CT guy) comes to dinner today, let's see, before he eats or after
  5. B, you had to say winter. no less that six salt trucks between Coppas and Islington at 9 am. this morning. I don't mind it.
  6. Thanks to all. I'm keeping the tires to manufacturer specs. I've had some great advice and learned a lot. The Michelins are for sale.
  7. nope! 75 CT 58 at the dealer! Homest. I won't tell you what they charge for an oil change it really hurts still. Vino is not ready yet you'll get some for sure.
  8. Sorry wrong figures on the 2016 tires. 225/65R17
  9. I have 2016 Jeep Cherockee 4x4 with Firestone 225/65/R17 tires. I also have new (12,000 km) Mischelin X-ice 215/60R17 that I had on my Compass which has been sold. The hight difference is 1 inch. I'm getting different stories about changing size, affecting computer setting /readings. . . I know for a fact that it will affect my speed reading, which to me makes no difference at all. The compass rims don't match the 2016 so I'm in for 250.00 for new winter rims. Is it worth it to put these tires on without causing problems or sell them and go for the right size? thanks in advance.
