  2. Yes you can. after jarring them I use a 45 gal drum fill it close to the top fill it with water and let it boil. When it’s boiling on top keep boiling for 20 minutes or so.120 jars per drum. to make thing go a bit quicker When filling I use about 40 L of hot water and rest cold. we used another method many years ago after grinding we boiled the sauce in large pot and and filled the jar, closed them and turn upside down. The heat of the sauce sealed the jar. A tad hard on the hands and could cook you:) I’m looking for food quality steel drum:) after awhile they start to rust and have to chuck them.
  3. Very September. And February
  4. I also had the pleasure to fish with him a few times. A true gentleman. I also did a fishing book with him for Ontario Tourism. He wrote an amazing article about one of our best Friends in April 1999. The spinnerman, David Fernie. RIP John it was pleasure knowing you.

  11. Last week were were set up at work to take our computers home with VPN. I told my wife that I had VPN. She asked me if she should call the DR. I said no we all have it at work now.
  12. Thanks for stating the facts. We don’t need to fish for a short term in congested places. If we overcome this we will enjoy the sport later and our wildlife will recover also. From what I have read/seen being locked up. They had fish in the canals of Venice and less air pollution in a lot of other places.
  13. You going fishing? Only stream I know, explain please. Tie flies, and keep busy. lots of reruns of Red Fisher somewhere.
  14. Maybe to prevent fishermen from “schooling.” Perch is not worth an illness.
  15. OI, we really realized it last night. It was my granddaughter’s 7th birthday. It’s usually a big affair with the 8 other grandkids and their parents. Last night one of my girls set up a FaceTime conference and we celebrated on iPads and phones. It has to be done.
  16. Glad to have you back. I’m also in isolation, my work shut down to lack of advertising. Hopefully they will start up again, The Bay has closed its stores so we will wait.

  20. 8 Italians, 2 ATVs and a snow machine, it was an 8x10 and solid . One lesson learned after that Scenario always had 2 8x10 in the hut just in case we met a crack. We were lucky there’ was a shelf under the crack. Or it was gonzo! Made for a wet day. Hope you were only waist deep.
  21. glad you still got your eggs B. We dropped hut in crack it wasn’t pretty getting it out.
  22. I never asked to go. Always home by 6. And always did the outside house work. No complaints except, clean the laundry tub after you are finished if we got fish. One night at wedding we decided to go and had no lunch. We went into the kitchen asked for foil wrap and made lunch! Went home and away we went.
