  1. The underneath side of my boat cover has black spotting from mildew,it is a top gun cover so I would like to keep the mildew away and add some years to the cover, just wonding what could i use to help remove it without damaging the cover?
  2. something we are considering since it will soon be just the 2 us on summer trips is a slide in camper, which will allow you to still pull the boat and can disconnect at site so can drive around in just the truck. they have come along way check out link. http://www.lancecamper.com/truck-campers/1172/
  3. did I seriously just read that ,sad statemant really
  4. the campsites are brutal at Rondeau unless you like camping in a open field with everyone else. Never been to Killbear. Fishing is excellent in Restoule, many species including walleye, bass, pike, musky and lake trout and several lakes and lots of back country to explore with very little pressure.I guess it depends on time of summer, july fishing is excellent, august things really slow down.Bonnechere is a nice park has excellent fishing for pike bass and walleye. It has several great campsites along the river which you can boat out to the lake. The site we had i was catching pike and bass all day long from my picnic table. The beach there is awesome. Emily has good fishing but the waterway is very busy.
  5. lots of parks that offer great camping and fishing and most will be alot less busy than Long Point. Mikisew,Restoule,Six Mile,Bonnechere,Martin River,Sameul de Camplain,Driftwood,Balsam and Emily are all within about 4 hours of you and all offer great camping and some very good fishing.
  6. for northern lakes a rapala j-7 or j-9 in black/gold or charteuse,,,,lake erie reefrunner 800 series,or ripstick in orange crush, kryptonite, purple demon or rapala taildancers in blues and greens.
  7. I picked up an ultralight from CT a couple years ago,it is a shimano Bob Izumi series, excellent ultralight,I think it was around 70 bucks.
  8. heres a link that might help...http://www.doyourownpestcontrol.com/yellowjackets.htm
  9. sorry to hear this,I had a similar incident with them a couple times. If they are borrowed in a hole in the ground they are probably yellow jackets(wasp). very aggressive if you go anywhere near the nest. What I did was wait til they settle down in the evening then pour gas down the hole and light it. Took care of the problem. I guess you could also empty a can down the hole in the evening as well as they should all be in there and in a relaxed state.
  10. I am surprised TO got so very little for him and had to retain some salary. 40 goal scorers are hard to come by and he did that with Bozak as his centre. With Crosby or Malkin being his centre would not surprise me to see him win the Richard trophy next couple years.I thought they could of got more.
  11. that ramp always has issues with the concrete slabs, use to work alot better with just sand
  12. spincast if you want to pm me I can answer your questions and help you out. I have been camping and fishing at restoule for 27 years. I am going for a week in July and a week in august. there is a good ramp in the park in Bells area and the ramp at Stormy is very good.
  13. yes there are alot bigger skis in Restoule,I have seen many over 40, and yes I think the fishing for them is better in Stormy and Clear,if there is a next trip for you there definately give those 2 lakes some time.Still some nice fish.
  14. if you choose bruce go early and expect plenty of company.
  15. another reason to reconsider Long Point is the race being ran on saturday morning, which they will be closing roads for.
  16. well if enough of the retriever in him comes out have fun keeping him out of the water. If my golden gets anywhere near it she is in it including diving out of the boat when pulling up to shore and sometimes out in the middle of the lake. She even cliff dives with the kids.
  17. many people turn to drugs for many reasons, some from being abused,or having mental health issues or addiction from prescription meds,so please don't judge drug users the same.Thank god that the great people who work in addiction recovery and mental health do not share the same stereotypes of users.
