  4. Mick & Paddy walking home from the pub; Mick says "I cant be bothered to walk all that way." "I know" says Paddy, "but we've no money for a cab and we've missed the last bus home." "We'll steal a bus from the depot" said Mick . They arrive at the bus depot and Mick tells Paddy to go in and get a bus while he keeps a lookout. After shuffling around for ages Mick shouts "Paddy, what you doing? Have you not found one yet? " Paddy shouts back , "Can't find a No: 9." "Oh Jeysus Christ, ya thick twit – take the No: 14 and we'll walk from the roundabout." .................................................................. Moose Hunting Two Irish hunters got a pilot to fly them to Canada to hunt moose. They managed to bag 6. As they were loading the plane to return, the pilot said the plane could take only 4 moose. The two lads objected strongly. "Last year we shot six. The pilot let us take them all and he had the same plane as yours." Reluctantly, the pilot gave in and all six were loaded. However, even on full power, the little plane couldn't handle the load and went down. Somehow, surrounded by the moose bodies, Paddy and Mick survived the crash. After climbing out of the wreckage, Paddy asked Mick, "Any idea where we are?" Mick replied, "I think we're pretty close to where we crashed last year."
  5. Sounds like a cool gig too me, I hear yea about thoese winter months. My company made me take about 2 months off "WORK FROM HOME" unless there was a emergancy through december and January. I went nuts, never again! I wold rather be a greeter at Walmart than sit at home making up projects to pass the time. Besides you don't seem like "Would you like Fries with that" type of guy. They still deliver POST? I thought it was a Junk Mail / Bills delivery service.
  6. Great Job.. just a tip, before you winterize you may need to run it a tiny bit then fog and change Gear oil. For batteries I do what Wayne said Charge them up and a couple times in the winter plug in and charge up. Never a dead battery yet Hate to find, a large hole in my boat after a couple weeks leaving it plugged in for 2 long

  18. I figure sooner or later Merlands will hear about this post look and maybe make some changes or just not allow us back. My expectations were high as I kept seeing post after post "Merlands" the holly grail of places to stay. Our cabin was great, course it could have been the people around it all the time and a super hot shower. Only big complaint was the ramp and docks, I am sure with the huge drop in water they could have requested from the MNR the ability to remove the rocks that were now at the bottom of the ramp.. A little manual labour moving thoes rocks would have really helped with the launch. Also problem was once you launched your boat you had no where to park your boat while you parked your car unless as gerrit said you took the spot of a person who paid. Either way its was all about the people for me, and for that it was a super trip
  19. I saw this thread and was going too recommend Fiber, I think thats the most frustrating thing about fishing, You see the darn fish but they just ain't doing what they are suppose too do. What's this last time in the boat stuff.. No ice yet
