  1. Get a Quick Disconnect Battery Terminal.. I have them on all my batteries, I separate the Core engine, Battery charger and auto bilge. Everything else is disconnected when done for the day. No worries that the kids might press power on fish finder's, turn on the stereo etc
  2. When I read this in the National post there was up-roar about the loss of investment " USA politics bla bla bla" If Government on "BOTH" sides of the great lakes thought it was that important they would do what they could to stop it. Funny you then see new articles like this https://www.thestar.com/news/crime/2011/03/04/man_fined_50000_for_importing_asian_carp.html... Second time caught. Where was the uproar on that. kill the carp ~ P3TA complains Put in expensive barrier.. Voters complain Do nothing.. Easy
  3. Hats, shirts, Flags ah the good old times.. Still one of the best knifes I own..
  4. Sound like great fun.. Lots of great idea's posted
  5. Terrible news, best of luck with you fight
  6. My Absolutely deepest condolences. Very sad new.. R.I.P Joey,
  7. Cost of doing business,.. They got sloppy, probably cut corners. no checks and balances. I am sure new policies and procedure are now in place. All lodges will shape up. All that being said, they should not have that much fish in the freezer.. Really sloppy they should have donated fish not taken by clients.
  8. Listened to him on the radio.. If anything he had practical responses to straightforward questions. Wish all politicians would respond to questions with straightforward responses but they have to do the deflect, spin and lie dance
  9. Great vid! little thin for me but looks fun
  10. Think the issues is more a social issue rather than an enforcement issue. People taking full limit in 1 day, once a year any different than people getting there limit over the fishing season?
  11. Still miss the reports, did not really care about the "location" just nice to see people catching
  12. Yamaha 450. No problem plowing the driveway with the tracks.. Turning radius is crap but beats doing a 50 foot driveway by hand
  13. Guess I better take my plow kit that has the extension to work with tracks back
  14. I went for the tracks for my 450. They are geared specifically for the bike. I went back and forth on what to get. My main reasons for going for the tracks. Never getting stuck these things are like a tank. Don't want to test it in slush but from what I have watched it should be able to get out. They raise your bike extra so you get lots of extra clearance Your footprint is very wide, The docs say reduce your weight distribution One toy to maintain One toy to pay for insurance One toy to find storage I wont be winning any races but that ok for me. I have not found my top speed yet .. Deep snow slows you down and no snow is bumpy If I lived close to the lake and had the room for storage I would have both an ATV and Sled. If I lived up north maybe just a sled. Storage was a issue for me and I had to choose.
  15. Great to see a few old faces and meet some new folks. Nothing better than getting away from the house and chatting with some great people about fishing, (and the beer, can't forget about the beer )
