I wish I knew Joe, was in a store full of those leg lamps this summer. Different sizes as well! I wanted to get one but was told no, should have got it any ways.

Not going to keep the sled cool but will might make the cooling fins non-stick so you could do a couple of eggs. For the sliders, I've heard of dish soap as well. I had a buddy that drilled holes in the slides and injected them with a high heat grease. Seemed to help.

A Christmas Story would have to be my favourite as well but also enjoy the these, It's a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street, A Christmas Carol with Alistair Sims and of course National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Haven't seen The Polar Express, will have to try and watch that this year. They also came out with the top 10 worst Christmas movie list today. I think I'd like to see the number one pick. 1. Would disagree with the neighbour. Seen a few sleds over the years over heat from the lack of snow, even with a studded track. Might be enough to lube the sliders but I wouldn't bet on that.

Too bad things are not going well right now for Peanut. Nice to know that the owners are taking the responsible route but little compensation for what Peanut and the family has been through in the past few days. I sure hope that things get better for the pooch and thanks for the update.

That sucks! I was out walking the dog a week or so ago and another person was walking their dog...without a leash. It bolts after my dog, luckily it was more looking to play. I couldn't get between my dog and the other one either. The owner eventually got the dog by the collar as I grabbed mine and exchanged a few choice words. I hate people who don't control their dogs as well or at least think they know how to but really don't have a clue. Speedy recovery for Peanut and I'd be all over the owners for the vet bills.

Buddies of mine used the rolled aluminum and wrapped in around the runners. It took next to nothing to move the hut. I think they got it at Home Depot.

I should dust off the Orvis for the ice fishing season, Maybe I'll remove the floating line first though. Actually I've got an old fly reel my Dad gave me before he passed away. Might give it a go with that.
