  3. Yes Hack. The launch is mint and the parking is massive. Most of the parking is taken up by dog walking latte drinkers but during the week almost no one is there. I've never seen shore anglers there but I used to catch Chinnies, Browns and Rainbows 20 feet from shore there in my Hobbie. If anyone watched Fish TV last weekend those guys absolutely slayed Chinnnies from a boat about 1/2 mile out from Center Island sometime in the summer. That's a short haul from Humber West. I would bet they were fishing in June or July for that area.

  4. yup, try to be courteous on the water...and honestly always ask if the people mind if you fish there.

  6. You won't find it in the regs and there really isn't a set distance. Let common courtesy be your guide. In the past if I was going to setup anywhere close to another fisher person I would simply ask if they minded or whould they prefer I moved further off. I can't remember ever being asked to move off and I have ended up fishing with some really nice people.

  8. Plenty of good ice, even on whitefish water, and yeah I’ve been. If you don’t know don’t go. It’s not the best ice year but there’s fishable ice. Every section of the lake will make ice in varying degrees. Some will be downright unsafe. In other areas you can run a sled or wheeler. But yeah, if this is your first rodeo, go with an operator and fish for perch!

  9. years ago I was fishing L St. John near Orillia. I was catching pike after pike from the same hole. Well don't you know...the clown who set up around 60 feet away comes and drills a hole like 10 feet from the one that was producing! Best part was he didn't get any...served him right

  11. If I can see you, yer too close. LOL The rule of ethics is water depth. So 50 fow, 50ft away. A little dif if you fishing shallow.
