Yeah, we had a much longer period this fall where we had open water but temps would at some point during the day get just cold enough to make line freeze a problem and curtail my efforts at landing a fish or 2 once my boat was winterized. My wife pointed out to me that she has noticed October/November and Apri/May are difficult months for me.....lol.
Funny that my son and I were talking about that last night. He thought the Scotiabank needs to do far more with the fans between whistles to engage them. Get that place rockin’. Who the heck is gonna start screaming all by themselves when surrounded by 20,000 people???!! Other than maybe Chris I guess 🤣 That would work in some arenas but too many people at the Leaf games. In Ottawa you could order popcorn from the kid working the other side of the rink!!! Lol 😂
I bought one 15 years ago and just last year I bought a new one
but still have not used it cause the old one just keeps working
and some people here will tell you I am hard on all my equipment
so two thumbs up from me
Been following the Erie scene for a while and even get to fish there occasionally with great success. The 2015 spawn was the best record back then, and we benefited from it starting 2017 when these fish reached ~16-17 inches in length. Now that year class is in the 20s and it's awesome fishing out there.
2018 was an even better spawn than 2015, and somehow 2019 is looking better than 2018. So expect Lake Erie walleye fishing to be bananas from 2020-2025 at least.
Hopefully this trend continues!
