  1. And that's the exact reason the law says you WILL have a flashlight in your boat.

  2. Fake news alert. I found wanting a beer all day is not near as much fun as having that beer after work. Art

  4. la pioggia cadde the first few hours this morning. But, I fiume for 3 hours. Not a touch nor a bobble from the float. Dark skies above,I knew rain was to fall . Stuck it out to see if I would hook up. With pesce to smoke from the day befores catch , my plan I was to leave before 10 am to complete along with my many other tasks for the day. I had a box of Peperoni to roast, and aglio as well. I packed the float rod away and was about to do the same with the casting rod. I thought what the heck, lets cast a few more. oh mio 1st cast and I was sorpreso with a thunderst hit. .Fresh pesce attacks the spinner, and is a freshy from the bay. Silver chinny. What a grande bonus to end the morning. I quickly clean it up and head home for my planned chores for the day. On vacation, but still lavorare giornata intensa Each bag 3-4 Peperoni and 2-3 cloves of roasted aglio. Gift from a co worker. I added this to my maple syrup glaze for the pesce. This stuff has some kick to it. grazie per la lettura

  5. your battery is failing or your engines starter motor is drawing too much amps your fishfinder is made to shut down if the voltage gets too low a new bigger battery can help, also running a larger wire to the fishfinder can sometimes help. both + and - wires

  6. i dont think the law mandates that passengers must take a breathalyzer but there were a bunch of people on his boat so they would have to test everyone if they did him

  7. the "its not her fault because it was night time" angle doesnt apply. Thats the same complaint people that crash their car when it snows give. They act like the weather caused the accident. If you are driving a boat fast enough at night that you cant see another boat, you are at fault regardless of if they have lights on or not. Although its not the situation here, I can assure you that there has been countless situations where people have been stranded at night with a bad battery in their boat which hasnt allowed them to turn on their navigation lights. In this case the people that shut their lights off are indeed in the wrong, but so are you for not driving according to conditions.

  8. Yes I wholeheartedly believe we should let the courts make the final decision but Kevin did throw his wife under the bus pretty quickly after the incident.

  9. There were the same sort of statements made when this 1st happened, let's allow the courts to make that decision. The OPP have done their investigation and I highly doubt they'd lay the charges against the wife if they weren't sure of the details.

  10. Loose eggs? Get you some 20 Mule Team borax from Freshco and sprinkle in ziploc until the eggs look well salted. They will become drier and firm up a bit. Dollarama sells a locking lid container in the craft section that is perfect for loose or scraped trout eggs. Let them sit in the borax for a couple days in the ziploc in the fridge, then scoop them into the containers and fill to the top. Use the lids to screw tight and squeeze most of the air out. They should keep for a good while in the freezer. This is how I store all my brown eggs, loose or scraped. Mature laker roe should work great!

  11. Well we ended up with 6 batches of pure juice all told, most of them providing over 8 cups of juice each. Takes me 90 min to prepare the apples each time. So far 3 batches have been canned and 3 bags of juice are in the freezer. So I went back to the tree and they're even more ripe now, all deep red. Picked 30 lbs in about 40 min so enough for almost 5 more batches. Still tons left on the tree, I haven't even climbed it yet. If I do go back I'll put a tarp on the ground, climb the tree and shake the hell out of it.
