  2. Happy New Year all! A bit of fun to start the year from me. Our new rapidly growing kitten Moose is fitting in just fine. Just like our other cats he loves nothing more than aerating my minnows for me.

  3. I used my new Fin bore 8" today with my clam plate and Milwaukee. The 8" fin bore cuts like a dream, better than my old 6" swede bore. I would really only use my gas auger now if I were going away for days with no way to charge my batteries. This thing is brilliant!

  4. On occasion I read things that really make you wonder, what did they eat for breakfast, a bowl of ____? If you were to buy a store brand item such as Bass Pro socks, I really believe you would bring them back to Bass Pro for exchange or replacement. Now if you were to buy a Sail brand hand auger and needed an extension, where would you be inclined to go? Why would you even ask such a question.

  9. Yeah, so did I when I lived down that way. About a hundred days a year on the water for steelhead and salmon. But that is all in my rear view mirror now, and now I BUY my steelhead already filleted and frozen. Sad, ain't it............

  10. Knock someone, some people may need a minor knock to get the thought process activated. If the particular person had said, I checked with stores A, B and C and struck out, I usually make the effort to go look and give them a direction. If I stuck a sore nerve with you, there's always a tylenol in the medicine cabinet.

  11. Last night it was Hot Smoked Candied Steelhead (aka Indian Candy), spot-tail prawns with pasta primavera, and bacon-wrapped halibut. Steelhead from Chile, prawns from the Juan de Fuca Strait, halibut from Haida Gwaii. No photos......................it was quite toothsome. Doug

  12. I really don’t see the need to post something from another forum over here, other than a need to knock someone. If your really need to know why, maybe send the guy a private message to satisfy yourself. There is no point to this. While the forum is a little slow, it doesn’t need this kind of traffic.

  13. I want to wish all my Canadian friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year - for us old guys who have lost their spouse things are a little sad around this time of the year - I look back at the time my wife was here with me and the kids were small - those were the real good days - but life goes on - for you young guys who have a family make sure you cherish the season and their company
