Gil Levesque
Hi all! I see all these adds online with rediculously low prices from Temu. Is this company legit? Anyone order from them? Thanx!
BillM
It's basically AliExpress. I wouldn't buy anything with any sort of value from there (Fishfinders, etc)
Terry
I buy from them , sometimes the stuff is crap and sometimes it the exact same product at a third of the cost when I see a product I want I copy the name and description and look elsewhere if I can find the exact same product to be able to make good decision. I get good stuff about 90% of the time fishing plastic and lures are pretty good
akaShag
I wondered the same thing recently and went looking for information. I found this, and other cautionary articles. Buyer beware... https://time.com/6243738/temu-app-complaints/ That being said, Terry's batting average reported above is pretty darned good... Barry Willis
They are located in Boston and Chinese owned. One of my friends ordered some things from there and the way he puts it - low cost, low quality, ya get what you pay for. Back to Doug re, Calgary airport. As you mentioned there are a lot of folks camping out there that have been hoping to catch their flight since last week. I live ten km from the airport, the last couple days the wind chill at the house here was in the low -50s. Not quite as bad today, mid -40s as the howling north wind, thank fully has subsided some what.
CrowMan
A lot of reports of fake and counterfeit goods being sold on Temu. The old adage "if it's too good to be true" is something to consider... https://www.makeuseof.com/temu-scams-to-be-aware-of/
Bill Shearer
I bought a laser level for $30 to my door. Works great, and is comparable to my buddies that he paid $230 for . That's my only purchase.
