bobowski Posted March 25, 2018 Report Posted March 25, 2018 I was out walking my dog the other day when I came across this deceased rabbit. Any idea what animal would have done this? Assuming it was done by an animal.
manitoubass2 Posted March 25, 2018 Report Posted March 25, 2018 If it was an animal I'd say a Siberia husky. Our dog does similar things often. If hungry shell eat the rabbit or whatever small game, if she's not she just plays with them, often ripping off legs or head and leaving it there.
Rizzo Posted March 25, 2018 Report Posted March 25, 2018 Our cat ripped the head off a bunny before. Unfortunately she still had said bunny in her mouth when I opened the door to let her back in at 2 am. And unfortunately it was 2 am so I was groggy and didn't even see the bunny in Kitty's mouth. Man did I hear about that one the next morning when the decapitated bloody beast was discovered.
Larry F Posted March 25, 2018 Report Posted March 25, 2018 When we lived on the farm our female family cat would catch rabbits in the cedar bush and bring them back to the house with no head.
wkrp Posted March 25, 2018 Report Posted March 25, 2018 I think its my portugese water dog. She likes raw food
Canuck Posted March 25, 2018 Report Posted March 25, 2018 (edited) We had our dog on an all rabbit diet to try to narrow down allergies. So put it in the freezer and Ill come and get it. Might save me $10 or so. (kidding) Edited March 25, 2018 by Canuck
Old Ironmaker Posted March 26, 2018 Report Posted March 26, 2018 My wifes cat does the same thing to rabbits. I mistyped cat as car, her car does it too.
