Seasoned then seared in Tallow and served on a bed of Linguine tossed in fresh Lime, Ghee, Capers and fresh cracked Peppercorns. Simple and delicious! Looks good for sure. In my case I would have added 2 tbs of my wild leek compound butter to that pasta for an extra boost of flavour or at least some fresh garlic. I add garlic to just about everything lol. 1
manitoubazz Posted May 12 Report Posted May 12 Beauty meal! Looks amazing! My chicken/peppers prep to be mixed with Greek yogurt, salsa and on wraps 1

I was given a pound of weed butter recently but somehow didn't think it a wise choice for my pasta dish .... lol I actually have no idea what to do with it.

There's lots of recipes online....look for "CANNABUTTER". Weed butter is generally mosty CBD, and not much THC...so you won't really get that "high" from it. CBD is widely used for pain relief, relieving anxiety, help with sleep. My 89 year old Mom takes it to help with her arthritis.

Spiel Posted May 15 Report Posted May 15 Hoping the forecasted rain does not materialize this afternoon so I can BBQ these lovely Venison Rib Steaks. 1
akaShag Posted May 15 Report Posted May 15 Nice looking steaks. With venison, I ALWAYS trim off all of the fat, every single bit that I can. Venison fat is like eating candles.......... I leave a small amount of fat in venison for grinding and sausages, but almost none on steaks and roasts. Happy grilling! Me, I am going to have to make do with fresh pan-fried crappies. 😉 Doug 2

Fresh pan fried Crappie, trade you in heart beat. 1

Well we used to enforce the rules a long time ago, after being introduced to it on a "light' scale, it can do wonders for pain and put you to sleep when the bloody tinnitus calls. 2

manitoubazz Posted May 16 Report Posted May 16 25 minutes ago, akaShag said: OK, and what was it, Rick? It's a cream of mushroom soup, heavy cream and mushroom I grew, partridge, smokey maple bacon and a homemade hot sauce with a tad of cheese. Used the celery for looks and to scoop it up lol First dish I ever tried to make "look good" 1
Spiel Posted May 16 Report Posted May 16 Trimmed, seasoned, grilled and served. Nothing special, grilled med rare, plated with garlic mash and steamed broccoli. It was good, that I can assure you. 2
manitoubazz Posted May 16 Report Posted May 16 Looks phenomenal. I'm a big fan of broccoli too, 100% I'd pay good money for that meal! 1
