Entropy
I heard about the prison break, where they used a helicopter to get the prisoners out. http://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/quebec-prison-break-massive-manhunt-underway-for-3-inmates-who-fled-in-helicopter-1.1858472 It got me to thinking. What is to stop someone from flying a quadra-copter into a prison yard and drop a few ‘tools’ off to a select few inmates. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eibyRBcmLvc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2lj4mEaMdM&index=130&list=PLr6ILQvWUgT0Y56v1XydzvEk1NV1BnPz9 Is it legal to possess something like this in Canada? (USA?) What about use in Canada? (USA?) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNPJMk2fgJU What about this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itdwWvAnNx4 Get's ya thinking what the world will be like, eh. Dave Bailey
I have heard of people flying drugs and weapons into a jails using RC helicopters and quads, I wanna know why nobody shot at the it while it was landing or taking off? Apparently the guards in the courtyard areas are unarmed, because they don't want to take a chance on the prisoners getting hold of weapons. bman32
Can't really build a prison to be impossible to break into. They are designed to not be broken out of. I'm assuming guard towers with automatic rifles would ruin a helicopters day. Not like the civilian models are armoured.
davey buoy
This is Canada, the friendly Country.I'm almost positive the states prisons towers are armed.Different set of rules?
vance
I can see the press field day now if a copter was shot down breaking out prisoners and crashed into a populated area killing innocent people. If they can't high speed chase fleeing felons with cars they certainly won't be allowed to shoot them down in a copter. vance
captpierre
On CBCnews they said the chopper could be highjacked. Shooting down risks killing innocents
bman32
This is Canada, the friendly Country.I'm almost positive the states prisons towers are armed.Different set of rules? I listen to a project in high school on Millhaven and Sainte Anne des Plaines, both are built off identical plans with a SHU added (special handling unit) basically 23 hour solitary confinement. They represent our Max security prisons replacing Kingston Pen. and i remember hearing that the guards are armed with C7 assault rifles on patrol vehicles
