BillM Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 Should have banned him for having a license for life. He knew exactly what he was doing, should have taken his car/gear as well.

BucktownAngler Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) was checked on kbay on the weekend....my buddy left his license in the truck (the CO thought he was BSing), so the CO looked him up , he was so disappointed that he had a valid license that he stormed off and didn't even check mine. Wow that's odd. Most CO's I encounter out on Simcoe are really nice. I've forgotten my ID in the truck before, he just took down all my info and that was that.
davey buoy Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 I heard now,you have to have it with you,no exceptions. You guys were lucky .
BillM Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 I heard now,you have to have it with you,no exceptions. You guys were lucky . I've had this happen on more then one occasion, really does depend on who you're dealing with. My card stays in my icefishing pack from now on though.
moxie Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 Should have banned him for having a license for life. He knew exactly what he was doing, should have taken his car/gear as well. Agree. When its a blatant abuse of the laws half measures as in this case make me wonder why we have laws at all. And CO's for that matter.
John Bacon Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 I heard now,you have to have it with you,no exceptions. You guys were lucky . Haven't you always had to have it with you? As a matter of fact; at one time the fine for not having your license with you was higher than the fine for not having a license at all.
Joey Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 What a jerk. Even worse jerks have responded to the article. Idiots!!
