Rich Posted October 7, 2013 Report Posted October 7, 2013 Spent 3 hrs on bass for the first time in a month, yep there are some hawgs to be caught still!
Rich Posted October 7, 2013 Author Report Posted October 7, 2013 Thanks sir, nope it was the dead slow spinnerbait death roll that was annihilating them. Couldn't rise a fish on topwater. Though I can't figure out why as they were indeed surfacing like crazy that evening.

Next time break out some spoons and try vertical jigging, it can be absolutely insane when you stumble onto a big school Nice fish man!
craigdritchie Posted October 7, 2013 Report Posted October 7, 2013 That's a nice looking bucket. Sometimes the big ones get pretty nasty looking, but that one still has all its fins lol! Nice fish.
ehg Posted October 7, 2013 Report Posted October 7, 2013 That is an impressive fish! Almost looks like you caught it from shore in someones backyard. lol

Rod Caster Posted October 7, 2013 Report Posted October 7, 2013 Beady-eyed beauty. When it comes to bass, I definitly have a soft spot for largies! Good job, hope there's more for you before the season ends.
