Headhunter Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Garbo didn't miss any games that I know of from concussion, yet. Not questioning his work ethic as much as I am questioning his skill level and potentially his intelligence. His concussion issues will become apparent in a few years. How many times last year did we see the camera show Garbo's eyes looking like fry pans on the bench? I also have a suspect that (and I have no evidence to support this) he may have been a poor influence on some of the teamates. Again, just a feeling I have! HH

HH Well we won't have to worry about Grabo from now on, lol.
Headhunter Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 True enough... and it's nice to see that the Habs have kept to their height restrictions on their forward lines! LOL HH
ehg Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Nothing to add to the thread, but I ran into Eric Staal at gas station today. Was kinda cool. Ya cool! Now that is hockey players in the summer. Rick Green and Larry Robinson had cottages by mine on Pigeon Lake. A couple of decades ago was trolling muskies, Larry Robinson went by in boat and cut my line by accident. He thought i was waving to him, when i was warning about my trolling. Summer and hockey players.
lookinforwalleye Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 He is what 40 years old....not really a difference maker any longer.
kickingfrog Posted July 5, 2013 Author Report Posted July 5, 2013 He is what 40 years old....not really a difference maker any longer. A 40 year old who produces 50 points maybe this year. Easy for the sens to replace. Difficult for fanboy to replace.
lookinforwalleye Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Ray Emery off to the goaltender wasteland...one day Holmgren may get it right!!!

fishsevern Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Ference signs with the Oilers. Good stability on the backend for them.
kickingfrog Posted July 5, 2013 Author Report Posted July 5, 2013 Ray Emery off to the goaltender wasteland...one day Holmgren may get it right!!! Someone else wrote: One good year and Emery could get a 8 year 300million deal from Philly.
kickingfrog Posted July 5, 2013 Author Report Posted July 5, 2013 At least Detroit will be in the same division as the sens so he can visit lots.
fishsevern Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 (edited) Yes I forgot about that. True, still feels like the Wings are a west team. Looking forward to renewing the Tor-Wings rivalry next year, glad Lidstrom retired! The Score seems to have quick updates. Ohh there's another one....Horton to Columbus. 5.3 mill average over 7 years. Edited July 5, 2013 by fishsevern
lookinforwalleye Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Horton 7 years 40 million lol Columbus
fishsevern Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Ribiero to Phoenix 5.5 mill lol Clowe to Devils 5 years
kickingfrog Posted July 5, 2013 Author Report Posted July 5, 2013 The league will need another lockout soon cause there are going to be lots of teams that'll need more compliance buyouts.
fishsevern Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Ok here's a question and lets not get into a Leafs bash or support thing here.... if Horton and Ribiero signed around 5.5, whats Kadri worth?
fishsevern Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 The league will need another lockout soon cause there are going to be lots of teams that'll need more compliance buyouts. Was thinking the same thing....don't they understand yet? Horton especially with all his injuries and getting a 7 year contract, risky business.
fishsevern Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Clarke Macarthur to Sens.....Alfs replacement lol. That leaves just Kulemin from that line still left.
