Joey Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 under the fingernail must have been alot tougher for the Doc to push thru ?? That's what I was thinking Lew. Ouch Glad you got it all fixed up Bill - been there myself a time or two
Rod Caster Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 Walk it off. Haha. I won't laugh too hard, karna will otherwise find a way to get back at me!
nroadrunner Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 Man my finger hurts just thinking about it Top notch doctors in orillia I agree on that. Ian
Twocoda Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 I wonder what you could have caught if you used the finger as bait...
esoxansteel Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 I wonder what you could have caught if you used the finger as bait... Probably that hooker from Barrie, thats been known to hang around the soldiers at CFB Bordon, thats been in the news frequently.
BillM Posted June 12, 2012 Author Report Posted June 12, 2012 Jeeez Bill, that looks just plain nasty. Bad enough when it's in a hand but under the fingernail must have been alot tougher for the Doc to push thru ?? Lew, it pretty much was horizontal with the nail.. In the pic you can see two small black dots on the tip of my finger.. Left is blood, right is the hook point about to break the skin. No way I was going to mess with that... Let the pro's do the work, that's what we pay taxes for
ketchenany Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 Bill, that is nasty, if he wasn't out of season you would have made him pay big time - the frying pan! Wrong, you can't eat them . . . Fry him anyway just to get even!
BillM Posted June 12, 2012 Author Report Posted June 12, 2012 Al, they don't taste very good out of that lake (According to the oldman) Only one to blame was me, should have been more careful.. Once I got the top hook out I should have lipped it, then proceeded to take the bottom one out..
Dave Bailey Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 Top notch doctors in orillia I agree on that. Ian Yeah, but they probably get a lot of practise removing hooks, maybe even daily!
ketchenany Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 OUCH.......glad it worked out for you.... Bill, Good tough Ontario lad. Probably had more pain following Solo with a canoe on his back for 10 km or fishing the Geen for steelhead and froze his hands off. I've been there.
