davey buoy Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 Met up with a couple fellows there this morning for a bit.Looks like you had a good day Guys. Wish I would of seen your"buggy".looks great. You have given a lot of people some good ideas. Maybe a patent first?:whistling:LoL.
Terry Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 to be honest I had a totally different design for it and was going to build them from scratch but I would not be able to get a patent because nothing was original..and it's hard to patent an idea and to show it to a manufacturer..well they would just change one thing and sell it as their own..if it was a good idea
Rob Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 (edited) I'm not sure who has meaner looking eyes.. you or that Crappy! :clapping: Rob C Edited January 7, 2012 by Rob C
Skipper D Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 A couple of sets of lawn tractor wheel weights mounted to the wheels hu Terry , i know a guy ner you who should have some .
DRIFTER_016 Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 Yer not gettin' enough wheel speed on dat ting. Ya needs ta throw on a tubro charger and nitrous system. Could use a free flowing aftemarket exhaust system and a little porting and polishing too. Then it'll get where ya want to go.

If he increases the motor pulley diameter, look out!,gives you more rpm's to the drive wheels.

Terry Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 LOL it wasn't built for speed I do have a 600 Kawasaki motorcycle engine I could throw on it LOL
tb4me Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 you have to be carefull with those snow blowers..They operate on a friction plate. They will wear out real fast pulling weight.. Its a rubber wheel that spins on a metal disc. The old snowblower I have in the yard has this same issue..The wheels dont turn under load..
Skipper D Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 (edited) yeah that would do the trick I believe i have a set of cast iron ones that should fit your wheels back in the shed you can have , 50 pounds each i think . Edited January 7, 2012 by Skipper " D "
Ice Fishing Ham Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 Good use of and old snow blower. They made machines similar many years ago. They called them Hus Skis.
Terry Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 that is how it works I had to clean the disc to get the wheel to turn and to get reverse to work if this thing works well I will change it to chain drive

Id love to see how the chain drive conversion works out..If you do it please take pics..
misfish Posted January 7, 2012 Author Report Posted January 7, 2012 For what it was designed for,it will work fine, once it,s done right. It,s not meant to pull the weight of Terry and gear. It,s to make the haul of the port hut and gear. It will work, yoda has the force.HEHEHE
Leecher Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 That is nuts but I like it Looks like fun
