Rich Clemens
YEah - We even felt it here in PA and we're about 100 miles east of Pittsburgh. Sure got the office girls stirred up. HIghly unusual for us here in the mountains.

aplumma
No damage but I thought a helicopter was right over the house hovering then it dawned on me it was an earthquake. Art

blaque
Im no scientist. But how does one person feel it and another not. I felt nothing. NOt during this one or last years. (Im in western new york) Ive got people telling me 10 miles away how they felt it, and now it was felt up into canada? How did it get past me lol. Im between you guys and the epicenter. Im seriously asking how this happens.
kickingfrog
The type and age of the building you're in can make a big difference. The hight of the building and how high you are in the building comes into play. The "bedrock" that the building is on also matters.

jedimaster
if your on the ground on bedrock or a house with a really good foundation you may not feel it. I am onthe 5th floor of a 20 floor building, and everyone in the building felt it. This is in Toronto. Last year's I was in a mall and I didn't feel it. but others areound the block felt it. It just depends on what your in and where you are.
