bigugli Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 Nice to be able to get out and catch some fish for once. Just my buddy Bill, the Scandinavian fish retriever and myself. There were also a number of willing victims. Mostly mudcats. And the fish retriever with a sucker. Must admit I was quite surprised by the number of fish caught. Water was as thick as a chocolate milkshake.
Rod Caster Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 That'll make a nice snack. I caught some of the same color in the Nottawasaga. Gotta love that bright yellow

Leecher Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 That's awesome Bruce Glad to see you back in action along the shoreline I can't wait for tomorrow morning to get here going out very early to tease the square tails Got all the gear checked, rods spooled with new line and a bucket of crawlers Apparently the lake I'm going to (and this is from a good source ;) thanks Whitespinnerbait ) it's partially free of ice and fishable It should be a great time!!! Again great job on those victims and thanks for sharing Jacques
The Urban Fisherman Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 Those mud cats have no problems with the murky water! We used to catch them on them Thames downtown London after big rains all the time! Ugly little bugger but they were always willing to bite.... Especially after dark! Good job man!!! Cheers, Ryan
limeyangler Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 Good job Bruce....green with envy here...LANDLOCKED!
