Spiel Posted February 27, 2011 Author Report Posted February 27, 2011 Anyone else having trouble viewing the pic. Keep getting error message 404 whatever that means. The article was posted almost a year ago, the missing image is obviously no longer being hosted. But...... if you google "Mike Zimmer crappie" you might come up lucky with an image or two.

phatpelkey Posted September 9, 2011 Report Posted September 9, 2011 you can feed a small town with that thing!!
whitbyboatguy Posted September 18, 2011 Report Posted September 18, 2011 you can feed a small town with that thing!! The catcher won't say where he caught, how he caught it or anything of the sort. He told a lot of fish stories about the circumstances but I can't blame him for that....who wants to have a hot spot put in the paper? The speculation is that it is a farm fish just like those rainbow records caught last year. Not a fair comparison to wild fish. Still a big fish for a farm though.
RobbieTheM Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 I wonder how old that thing would be to grow that size?
Christopheraaron Posted May 28, 2012 Report Posted May 28, 2012 Amazing, anyone who can't find the pics, here is another article http://www.prairiestateoutdoors.com/index.php?/pso/article_print/16534/

Barneybass Posted August 1, 2013 Report Posted August 1, 2013 Huge crappie down south. They are getting bigger up here too with the warmer climates. Heard of a 3lber being caught up in Muskoka are through the ice this past winter.
Angler management Posted January 20, 2014 Report Posted January 20, 2014 any work on crappie fishing around scugog We did pretty damn good a few days ago. Both of us got our limit for the day. It was non stop action and a lot of fish went back in exchange for bigger ones. They are biting... Might even go back out tonight!
MuskieMagnet Posted January 6, 2015 Report Posted January 6, 2015 That's just fantastic. Thanks for posting. Crappie keep getting bigger, which is good for us.
