  1. Harper may not be right on that point of view... but like someone else said... god help us if Trudeau or the NDP make it in.... Lets just hope. lol
  2. 55" but have seen a few 58"ers with my eyes... I think even 1 or 2 are on this board.... MLaz has some nice ones... Marc fishes a lot with him now.... so I would assume he has some nice ones.. my good bud gets very close if not over 50lbers each year....
  3. Moxie not pissing on you just pointing out the obvious.... smaller lakes can only take so much pressure... mis managing starts with the angler... like I said I don't care anymore, but if you want to help out, I'm still waiting for the crappie spot?
  4. Someone already mentioned Stocco and Moira... and people wonder why all the giants are gone from there? and why you see 25-50 boats on opener now.... Im glad that my musky days are over... except the odd outing... feel free to name lakes.... just remember that there are ALOT of people on here just looking for new water to explore. Not a bash... just reality. While we are at it.. where is the best crappie lakes you know of? I only want 15"s tho.... no bites? didn't think so
  5. $125.00 Perrywinkle...... not fun... but couldn't get it back.... Rolfs baits are worth a lot more now.... even when he made them they were pricey.
  6. not sure why someone would keep a fish that size (to eat it would be gross)
  7. I will be there end of April.... sounds like just more than cigars and rum I will be doing... lol
  8. I have been on the Romeo kick myself.... the Dominican ones are the ones I have been smoking... Alec Bradley is another I have been trying... Montecristo #2 still my fav every day smoke... feel like one right now.... lol
  9. MSP that other guy in your pics really likes the "hero pose"...
  10. Always got a cigar or chew with me while fishing.... don't see a band on that one... what do you smoke usually?
  11. the pike in there are not a lot to say the least... the sizes are on the smaller side.... it is a small lake and it does get fished a lot but give er a try... you may hit a giant! there are better options tho in the area for larger #s and size pike.
  12. this has been a problem for years.... this isn't new... hell I ranted about the US before in regards to this... try going south and seeing how many people are there now and all the "I saw and heard it on the net".... and people wonder why especially speck hunters keep the secret spots tight lipped... I love the hero poses tho.. the fishes face right at the camera and ah yes the bridge or dam that so shows the spot.... sigh... guess we gotta live with it... people love the e-fame.
  13. Mike, I heard the water was even higher this year? to the tune of 10'?? I know when I went last year it was around 7' above.... great trip it looks tho. Some nice fish
  14. Great Bear or Slave lakes..... you will pay though....
  15. gotta go down there and hit them.... with a video like that.... man I bet there will be tonnes of guys heading down there soon... what you fishing? shore or deep stuff?
  16. Square Tails is Ed and Vito with Lord of the Kings.... both awsome... both friends gimme a pm and we can chat and possibly get you a deal
  17. Not too sure those fish are all geo bay fish
  18. or just go to BPS.... that is all theirs if I am not mistaken
  19. I have the 7 and love it... used all top end models... I have had one problem with it and they fixed and sent back asap.... great unit and they constantly update it. Only issue is that it doesnt fit in a bucket
  20. I believe there was dynamite involved.
  21. I would actually look at the new Stradic... it may be a little heavier but the drag system is better than both those reals. Just feel it tell him it is quite distinct. And, its cheaper than both those. If I remember right the CI4 will be re-vamped next year where as the new Stradic was this year. Just a thought.
  22. Mike, whos the gay guy laying in the boat in the last photo? he loves the HP......
  23. I will be Using a Rapala bait... with my Shimano Reel.... and my St Croix Rod and both my Hummingbird and Lowrance helped me find it... in a Lund with a Merc.... wearing Gloomis outer wear... and who else could I try and sell the WR photo to for sponsorship or $$ lol:tease: And Musky Hunter mag helped show me the spots .... with a BPS tackle box and sox lol
  24. people get mad cause too many look at my 50lber posts come up when they clearly are 35's... it seems that the only issue with this one is the title of "world record"... the more I look at it I think they are saying that in a few years that fish will be a WR..... if it was only a pic of the fish and Barbo.... I think all we would hear is praise. As for if the fish was the WR.... not sure he would bonk it.... having said that I think 5-10 years ago he wouldnt... but now not so sure as he has gone "main stream" on the musky scene.. which of course others have too Mr Thorpe comes to mind..... it used to be for the thrill of trying to get the tanks.... now its about the $$... whch Laz really doesnt need... but the recognition. He was like Pokaroo for a long time, like a myth, now hes on tv every week it seems. Lets see in the next cpl years what happens.... Ken O'briens fish is the WR in my book.... too many of the US fish are not documented well enough.... people just dont like that Obrien caught it walleye fishing lol Hit a 70lber and put this to bed
  25. I think its an IGFA live release record.... but no where near that 65 lbs mark. I just hope a 70 gets bonked soon to put the WR talk to bed.
