I am going to take a guess at where this is coming from. This is not a bass, trout, walleye or even pike guy. This is a Musky guy. They are almost the biggest and almost the meanest fish around here and since they are only share the top of their food chain there are not too many (oh those pesky Pike). When someone catches a decent sized musky when they are casual fisherman that usually catches other fish of course they are going to be excited and say it is huge because it is compared to the other fish they have caught. I am not sure what the tarpon and marlin guys say about Musky. Maybe they say I had tarpon snap off many 1000lb rated hooks/line this season you call that 55lber a monster??? It comes with the territory....your stuck with it and the youtube juveniles "must see" videos.

OK....if that is what you are doing then perhaps: I believe starboard is bolted onto its surface due to the adhesive issue. The stuff is super expensive and there is little benefit to using it for this application. Get 2 lengths of 3 sided aluminum angle. Epoxy and silicone will work on the aluminum. With the 2 pieces make the slot ends for the plastic board to go in. The board/self will slide in between the 2 aluminum pieces. I think you can figure out how to best mechanically fix the plastic to the aluminum. Personally I would use plywood instead of the plastic to put in the slot because it is easier to work with. Big box home repair place will sell all you need and the aluminum brackets come in various thicknesses. wbg

Maybe you want to say exactly what you are going to use this for. Yep Starboard is the stuff. A cutting board will suffer UV breakdown. I don't know how long either will last with 10lbs of ????? on it. For Starboard you can call the manufacturer and they will help you make the decision. You can forget about silicone or glue for the cutting boards. Cutting boards are made from polyethylene and it does not lend itself to binders very well if at all. Use mechanical methods for putting 2 boards together if you go this route. I think a metal or aluminum plate that has enough clearance behind it to bolt on/off items is a good play, make it detachable. So what is the 10lbs? sm

It depends on who is saying it and where they are saying it. A 16" bass is caught -if a little kid is saying I caught a HUUUUGGGGEE bass I will agree with them and tell them. -if a guy that rarely fishes and is not a known jerk then it is pretty big or big for this lake. -if a blowhard says it then I either say nothing or laugh a little and shake my head or say it out right OR say it is big for this lake. On the same topic when the walleye are on fire and the guys say they boated a tremendous 30 walleye. How does this compare to Limeangler's hauls? Does it make 30 a lesser number? 4 strokes: -drop a teaspoon of oil via the spark plug holes on top of each cylinder if it is being left for 4 or more months. Summer, winter or whenever it sits. -turn the flywheel by hand to get the whole cylinder coated. -DON'T run it dry. Another factor is that gobies are just not bottom feeders. Gobies eat zebra muscles. Zebra muscles are chock full of toxins. Don't put that fish to waste though...use it as fertilizer.

Yep. I can see stopping on the fairway to fish a pond setting off the course marshal's ape-shoot button with the dial turned to 10. I did it when I was a kid and the golfers would go bananas (rightfully so).
