I still cringe when I see anything like that. A friend of mine got whacked in the face by his own skeg and prop one time. Had a near perfect imprint of the prop blades on his face. I will not tell the story of how he happened to be swimming where that could happen. Suffice it to say we were 15 years old and actually believed we were immortal.

About 10 years ago the big hydro boats came to Barrie. I was fortunate enough to snap these shots. The driver was alright. These are scans of old prints so the quality isn't the best.

You know, I'm a pretty tolerant guy but what keeps coming to mind is maybe the world was lucky enough that the prop castrated him so that he wouldn't pass along the bowl of stupid he ate for breakfast to his offspring!
