LundGuy Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 Now I mean, do they fish along side of you, or do they just go out for the boat ride? My wife actually fishes with me, has her own equipment (fishing that is) and usually out fishes me.
Greencoachdog Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 (edited) I'd really like to... but that means she would have to go outside... and that just aint gonna happen too often. Edited March 23, 2008 by Greencoachdog
irishfield Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 I always say... It's better to look at this... ..than this... ANY day ! and she does VERY well on her own.
bassboy Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 My wife actually fishes with me, has her own equipment (fishing that is) and usually out fishes me. Lundyguy, I suffer the same affliction as you.....in fact its a bit of a joke with us now.. LOL Even today...we hit Rama on the way back from her parents in Orillia and I played a slot that I think was called Big Fish (or something like that....tried it cause it was fishing related).....it ate 10 bucks from me.....my wifes reply was "You should have let me play it!" LOL Glad to know I am not the only one in that boat....um...situation Bill
danbouck Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 She goes out with me once in a while. But it is usually a short trip since she can't be out for 12 hours like me!
steelhedrmatt Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 All the time.. Own equiptment and all. And again, usually outfishes me too!! http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh21/st...dr/100_1386.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh21/st...edr/monster.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh21/st...edr/BigPike.jpg
ccmtcanada Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 My wife (bly on the board) fished with me about 200 times last year....and she is quite the angler! She's beaten my PB walleye (14.5 lbs) with this 15 pounder... She has the bigger steelhead than me with this nice one.... I'm not even in the same category as her best Brown.... So, when I say she outfishes me....I really mean it....LOL.
LundGuy Posted March 23, 2008 Author Report Posted March 23, 2008 I always say... It's better to look at this... ..than this... ANY day ! and she does VERY well on her own. The reason she was bending over was to pick that fish out of the water , right?
ccmtcanada Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 Wayne Wayne Wayne...don't you know that our wives talk to eachother?? jeez....

huntervasili Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 Think you're going to have to hold that Salmon out a little farther to make it look of any size Cliff. Good luck this year.
SlowPoke Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 Think you're going to have to hold that Salmon out a little farther to make it look of any size Cliff. Good luck this year. If he holds it out any further we'll have to re-attach his arms.

SlowPoke Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 Brian we will have to hook up at a half way point this year and do some Do we have to hook up half way between London and Burlington? That'll put us on the Grand River in Paris and I'm not sure about those Parisites. I'd rather meet you at the foot of your driveway and hook up for some real fish, Lake O style!! -Brian
JustinHoffman Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 Hello All, I've been lucky to date a few girls that truly loved to get out fishing. My last girlfriend was no exception: This bass that she caught flipping was just two ounces shy of my personal best. A personal best, I might add, that took me 21 years to accomplish. She did it in two years. Good thing we broke up... I think I'd have a hard time dating someone that didn't enjoy the outdoors in general, and fishing in particular......just too good of a thing not to share with a loved one. Good Fishing, Justin
