Muskieman Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 apparently this Moose was shot in Russia and weighed in at 2500lbs and measured 15 feet at the head? that's 1000 lbs bigger than a big Canadian Bull Moose..
bigfish1965 Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 They used angles to make the moose look bigger, but he's still a monster. Not quite as big as PF the FF, but big all the same.
bucktail Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 He looks like the first hunter to win a trip back to the Pleistocene era.....up next cave bear!
Clampet Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 He looks like the first hunter to win a trip back to the Pleistocene era.....up next cave bear! (Out of four)!
Sandbag Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 Pretty hard to tell without seeing the rest of the body. That's a pretty impressive rack none the less. Cheers Craig
irishfield Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 Pretty hard to tell without seeing the rest of the body. That's a pretty impressive rack none the less. I said that to someone once....oh nevermind.....
Tarzan's Jane Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 (edited) Too funny Irishfield...my son's friend did not realize that he was on speaker phone and when my son told him that a friend was over...he says quite loudly.."tell her that she has nice 'jugs'...he was absolutely mortified when he could hear her and I in the backround letting him have it. What could we women say besides..."nice lures yer sportin there" Edited November 4, 2007 by twilight
douG Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 (edited) PF just got called a FF. Again. I think it's about time. Here's the rest of the moose pictures. Edited November 4, 2007 by douG
Mike the Pike Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 That moose was shot in the same area that the huge pike was caught ya right near my home town St.Hubert
Slimeball Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 (edited) The above picture in douG's post shows a truely large moose rack. Camera angle, lighting, lens type,etc.. can all play a role in making objects seem larger than they really are, while that is a big rack note the picture was taken with the camera very low to the ground viewing upward, if that pic was taken at eye level the mans face would be behind the rack no dought. With the picture taken as is from a low vantage point, it makes it look like the inside spread is taller than the man. Edited November 4, 2007 by Slimeball
