  1. Yep...thats funny
  2. Do you keep every fish you catch or do you catch and release....
  3. I think you are forgetting the young girl that was killed by them on Cape Breton island this summer. Maybe we should send you a few more bears too. The natural selection and evoloution is me blasting them with a 30-06. And it is illegal to kill them and leave them. You must skin them and process the pelt. There are rules for hunting as well as fishing. You guys don't want the anti fishers tropming on your sport so please don't tromp on ours. Or soon we will all be sitting playing video games.
  4. ummm..No, it doesn't
  5. yep..cool huh...hey, its legal
  6. you seem to forget...we assume here all the time. It makes it easier to make comments
  7. for me...if its scary on the ice...I stay off of it...its too cold to be swimming right now. heres a good one. The Wawa ice derby will not be on lake Manitouik this year. They can't find the body from last week and don't want to take the chance of 300 fishermen out there and possibly drilling into it.
  8. Your neighbor will be lucky if he doesn't have a visit from the OPP. If my kid came home and told me somebody pulled a gun on him I wouldn't care where he was trespassing...the police would be involved.
  9. 6 weeks recovery means you are in pretty decent shape in 3...don't be a baby
  10. I LOL'd
  11. Flourescent red Mooselook wobler. Take the treble off and put a hook on about 6 or 8" of line off it with a good minnow. just hang it on a gad and let them hit it. jig your other line i guess. I generally just let all mine hang there like that with different spoons.
  12. Plus the guys that broke the trail would toss you off of it for messing things up with those tracks. They just aren't the proper vehicle for backwoods winter fishing
  13. The cap does need to be raised...a nurse with a decent bit of overtome can get on it
  14. It wouldn't fit down our trails
  15. that was for an Apex ltx gt I'm on an 06 rage right now..same motor as your Venture..good thing you got nothing to hit up there so you don't need collision
  16. I got a quote for a new sled I'm considering and it was $882.00 for full coverage..Right now fire theft for the year and liability for the season is $450. 994 cc Terry, that rig wouldn't be much good to you up here for fishing
  17. I got a buck and a doe given to me when my mother in law sold out and went to an apartment this year. I told the wife I was going to "mount" them on the front lawn. I can't find that buck anywhere
  18. Kinda like the splake I'm waiting for enough ice to go after. I love pulling fish like that up on a hand line. When you set the hook...OMG
  19. Thanks for the pm Caper. It sounds to me like somebody has ben sitting on their butts instead of doing their job. Why all of a sudden such an interest in expired handgun licenses. I hear you that you are not for the registry. Possibly if our politicians actually cared about safety instead of just making a name for themselves, (man do I hate Allen Rock) they would have spent the billion on checking the licenses back then rather than now it could have done some good. How come nobody is complaining that the job hasn't been done for so many years. Oh look at me..I'm gonna come up with a new law to make my people safe...instead of using the ones we already have I'm done with this...its disgusting
  20. legal owners don't carry their guns on the street...but you know what...there is no law against carrying your 30-06 uncased down young st..or having it in the gun rack in the back window of your pickup truck
  21. Caper I think you need to better explain how the handgun registry is a mess in Toronto. There may be a few expired licenses around, but those were all from legitimate owners...not the punks on the streets...so it really is just another waste of police time. Hammercarp. I agree with you except for one part. you said that they got rid of 400 firearms off the streets of toronto. They weren't on the streets...they were in homes, likely fairly safe as well. Like they say, fear a government that fears its citizens being armed. This has nothing to do with safety for anybody except the government. Hows that for paranoid. they really gotta think about the laws they make a bit more. 1st..bicycle law for kids..how many kids do you see not wearing helmets. smoking in a vehicle with kids...come on cel phone law while driving...i don't see any difference now..everybody is still driving talking on em...or hands free which is just as dangerous. These laws all cost millions of dollars to make...why bother spending the money if they aren't going to be enforced. They would be called idiots for busting a kid with no helmet, but come across an unregistered single shot 22 and they are heroes.
  22. Looks good...this gonna be a total restoration?
  23. Come on...a 6" auger will drill a hole through 3' of ice with little effort. Why mess with a drill. I used to drill 8" holes for my kids all day long
  24. Try Marks workwearhouse. Thermal underwear...the little pillow/waffles...I think they have em
  25. Its really cool once you figure it out. When you pick multi quote, then you go to next post you want to quote with it and hit multi quote again...then down to reply, all quotes will be there for you to adjust
