I think that Doo is outtawack..the 127 mph...not thw 184 k Best I have seen on mine is 176k but its not the fastest. My buddy went ripping by me. I don't think a car going that fast would set up much of a wave. You would be ahead of it all the way.

You have a 50-50 chance. Just remember, if the border guard asks if anybody has ever been arrested you gotta tell the truth. If you lie and he finds out...the whole group gets sent back. And don't even think of bringing any hand guns. Getting busted for that is a weekly occurance at the border here.

I use 20 lb trilene wrapped around a board. I hang it off of a limber willow gad cut from the side of the trail on the way in to the lake. I use a 10 lb snelled hook hanging off the flasher. I change the line out about every 5 years. When the hole ices over I stomp my heel in it to break the line loose and re-open the hole. Thats why I use 20 lb...it can take the beating of winter fishing and bouncing around in a sleigh. The fish I catch specs, lakers and eyes don't seem to care. I have been ice fishing for 40 years now and I think somebody started calling it ice line about 2 years ago so people would buy special line for winter fishing. I wouldn't use 6 or 8 lb line in winter. You get a decent fish rubbing it against the side of a hole and you may go home pretty depressed.

I saw people unloading 4 wheelers there yesterday to head out. I would imagine its ok. Just stay on the trail to you punch your own hole. Fish near the huts...them guys bait the holes

50% of the water in the Sault comes from lake superior, the other 50% comes from wells. Depends on where you are in town what water you get. There is a well 3 blocks from my house. It is in a little block building. The water is pumped out of the ground, gets a little shot of chlorine for a just in case, and goes into the pipes. I trust that way more than any bottle I would buy off the store shelf. I fill a couple water jugs for going into the woods camping because you never know what you will pick up out of a creek or lake.

Is there any hope of your buddy returning to reality? Doesn't sound like it to me. Its hard to back out on an old buddy but if there is no hope for her..... Ask her (your buddy) how come Mrs P3TA will let her (your buddy) fish when she(her wife) is at work but not when she isn't? Could be that she is bending a little and you may get your fishing partner back... 4 days at camp is pretty enticing though...he really should come for at least an overnighter. 2 lake trout with one over and one under 16" is rediculous anyway...its just trying to make us mad and stop fishing. next year i hear we are getting a 3 spec limit...not gonna be much point in fishing pretty soon. PS...not a penny of our license fees should go to pay CO's. CO's are for catching poachers and poachers don't buy licenses. Linces fees should be spent on taking care of the fish
