May as well add some fish to keep it interesting thats a size 12

I got away from fishing the last little while. I hit the trails a lot. Still get a couple fishing trips in, but there is just something about winter going by fast that gets me going. About4500km a year.

Neurotic is right. They do not like to be left alone. Mine chewed through a chain link fenced kennel. it chewed through a kennel door made fron 2x6's. it chewed through a hollow core mahogany door and then trashed my house. It is a 100 acre dog and needs company almost constantly. My wifes aunt had one and it jumped through the picture window as they were pulling out of the driveway because they left it home alone. beautiful animal, but NEUROTIC

I had one. I call them a 100 acre dog. You need a hundred acres to have one. Well, it helps

I did fish for whitefish with one last year. Made it almost too easy. I guess it could help locate perch as a friend of mine said he found that he was fishing in weeds and had tp move away from them to get fish. For lakers and such I guess not

I have seen them usefull for whitefish, but other than that, is a camera really that usefull. I can see the flasher being good, but a camera just doesn't have the range in my point of view. Can anybody educate me?

maybe a 5' length of 2" id light wall aluminum pipe. You don'r need much of a pipe to draw off of a paint can. You could use it as a handle for your sleigh while walking out. Wrap a bit of fire blanket material around it where it passes through the tent. Weld a hook on to hold the tent in place

Thats why you always want a treble with an ounce of lead on it...they always hit that combo.

Nice. I missed 3 today at the powerhouse tailrace and watched another board member net one. It was my aniversary so I couldn't stay too long,,,but at least I got out. Trying again tomorrow

We rip up newspapers into 2" squares and wet them down for bedding, for food, dead leaves. Gather yourself a good bag of brown leaves and feed them through the winter. They get fat on them. The newspaper is nice and clean when you need to dig them out. Also if you save the droppings its easy to collect. Best plant food you ever saw.

What about Firemen, Police, Nurses..they can't strike and they do ok. The service the bus drivers provide is essential, but it doesn't take a PHD to do the job so why should they be paid as one. College proffesors are again about to go on strike. Should our children put their lives on hold so these people can make a few bucks more? I'm getting tired of it. Companies are going bankrupt from too high taxes and pensions are being lost in the process, but bus drivers are entitled..come on..lets get Rae Days back

We get taxed anyway, and as soon as they get a raise, we get taxed more to pay for it...the money for government is endless

I don't think any government services should be allowed to strike. Call it a condition of the cash for life job. You don't like it...don't work there. And somehow, MP's and MPP's should have raises voted on by the public

You can hunt deer with 5 in a 30-06, I can't see why you can't have the same number of slugs in a shotgun. I think its only for ducks because after 3 shots they would be out of range. Thats what we were taught 35 years ago in hunter safety training. Everybody just keeps a plug in because it looks good I think.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't it only for duck hunting that you are limited to 3 rounds in the shotgun? I could NEVER sit in a stand for 9 hours. an hour and a half is about my limit...I don't shoot many deer
