I have a pretty good grip on him, his gill got smushed up. Almost jumped overboard on me. Can't wait to get out there again. I figure about 3 times a week for the next month should cover it. And yes..St Marys area

Well, it was so nice Saturday I decided I needed a bit of time on the water. I decided that about 12;30 in the afternoon. By 1;30 I had bait and the boat launched. I love having a garage to park the boat in so that its all ready to go. Well. I fished all over looking for jumbos or eyes. Sad day again. OK, one more spot before I call it quits. One line down trolling and I decide I'm going to put a second down. Right away the rod on the holder starts to bouncing. Toss the tangled line down and grab the rod. I nail a 3 lb smallmouth. Not what I was gunning for but at least its a fish. Toss it back, forgot my camera darnitt, and get set up again. One line down and managed to egt the second down this time. Bang, second rod a bouncing. This is a pita, trying to keep on trolling and reel a fish in. I lands a 18" eye. Into the live well you go baby. OK, skip the second line. back to the beginning of the troll patern and put the line down. Not 5 minutes and something wants to rip it out of my hand. Then leaves. Fix the bait and back down again...5 minutes and bang. After a good battle I land a 22 incher. Another couple of misses, one to the boat and drops off and its time to head in for dinner. A nice day on the water. Then Monday getting toward the end of the work day I decides its a good night to try again. Call up my buddy and see if he feels like going along. OK, 5;15 at my house. Hitched up and fishing by 6. 6;30 first fish is in the boat. another 22 incher sadly that was the only one but I have them tuned in now. Expecting a good season. It was a nice evening on the water.

People keep giving them a market...boycott the restaurant. At least they aren't blocking the highway over taxes -
I can't see a problem. Looks to me like he was building to a tight budget. You didn't know what it looked like till you took it apart. Mike Holmes wastes way more than he fixes

We still have our larger boat so this won't affect policing. Well, if it won't affect it, why did they spend the money on the boat in the first place. They have all the time in the world to be safe. I really can't believe the tether strap one either. Thats like making life jackets mandatory. Next time they stop me and ask for safety equipment I'm gonna tell them, only if I get to check you guys too.

I would be on Lady Evelyn again. If its a medical emergency, there are helicopters, and my cel phone worked from there...just ask my boss.

Dalton is looking for an excuse to raise power rates again -
Yep...redpine...sorry I never replied earlier. Trolling was the ticket this time. Others were only getting a few fish in the evening jigging till Thursday night and they started hitting. I say catching trolling is worth 4 to 1 over jigging anyway. We were letting lots of line out. I have never felt walleyes fight so hard. A 22 incher turned my boat around.

The falls are pretty low Roy. From what I hear they are usually lots bigger. My boat touched bottom getting to the base of them. The trip was a lot easier than expected. I figured a lot more hassle getting from one lake to the next than it was.We didn't even get out of the boat, just drove onto the trailer and then backed off again

A little buddy in our cabin. Loons and sunsets. fishing was tough though. We will pay closer attention to the fisg calendar next time. We fished hard every day. 10 hours a day in the boat, 99% trolling. That 60 is sweet though 10 gallons of gas used and I could get down to 1.7 mph with a 5 gal bucket out the back. The boat was mine. the lodge has nice 16' Lunds with 25 black 4 strokers. A good trip and we will be going back. Thanks for reading guys

We had nightly midnight snacks...like, every night

and a couple whitefish made it into the livewell. action shot...he could have been setting the hook on bottom. Most fish were caught in 6' of water. There were new sand beaches all over the lake...low water sucks but it does have its benefits.

more pics next day was a full day of rain...but we had fishing to do. another 28" er for me. a few decent Pike made it into the mix a few bass as well...that was way up at the falls. about a 10 mile boat ride in the rain. I caught a much bigger Bass but somebody was farting around too much and taking too long to sbap a pic so I tossed it back.

Now on the the fish my buddy got 3 in before I even got a hit. it was worth the wait. over 28"....a PB

My first trip to Lady Evelyn lake. Started out on Sunday. we left the Sault around 10am and ambled towards North Bay. Made a stop at Ramako tackle in Sudbury. This place is the BPS of the North. In to North Bay at a decent time. My daughter lives there so we took her and a friend out for dinner, then a walk on the boardwalk and off to the Holiday Inn Express for the night. It helps to have a friend with lots of points. He said we could stay for a week for free if we wanted to. Morning saw us wasting a little too much time and getting to the landing a bit late. No worries, they really aren't on a schedule up there. First pic is heading up river. It was a nice warm sunny day. perfect for hauling a boat load up the lake. As with lots of places, (I hear the same guy that controls the dam on Nip also controls this one) the water is 5' low. This is all new beach. I was going to tease them that the low water exposed their gill net the view from our cabin deck. The boat should have been at the dock instead of 500 yards away

Possibly the reason that the actual homicide rate is so low is because of gun control. They aren't used to having them and don't know how to shoot...lots of shootings, just not many kills

I'm heading out Sunday with my best friend whom I haven't seen or fished with in 10 years...a week at lady evelyn...i'm pumped
