  1. Why not buy it in Canada. I would think that with that other thread about how nobody minds paying for an outdoors card and the taxes that go with it that they also wouldn't mind supporting the Canadian economy and buying a boat here as well
  2. Can you get a seamstress to sew in a zipper for a hood?
  3. I never got checked. I had one funny one thouugh. I was taking the boat out of the water at our town launch and the OPP pulled up with their boat on a trailer. They wandered around and saw me and since I was along they kindly asked if I needed help. I do it all the time so I declined. I winched the boat on and then hooked up the safety chain. The cop says...ohhhhh, thats a good idea. It was hard to not to mention that his buddies in Barrie could have used one this summer.
  4. thats like paying tax on a tax
  5. Come on. ten bucks for a card to buy a license. Thats a crock. Why isn't the card good forever?. What changes with it? Hiring CO's is like hiring police officers. Do just the criminals pay to cover the cost? You guys that don't mind can come and pay my taxes. Thankyou dalton McLiar Hey, can we get a bogus 10% off like he is going togive to trick you guys with they electric bills too
  6. The only people that like Sudbury are the ones that have never lived anywhere else
  7. So far...Not even close...I remember that one quite well. I was about your age then Kinger. Not even close.
  8. Pffft...its like they think they own the country
  9. Thats my problem right now. Beautiful sunny day. Do I go fishing, play in the woodshop or work on my new family room..uummmmm
  10. I have a 2009 60 hp yammie and it drains completely. I used it till mid November last year. I even got blown off the lake in snow squall whiteouts. I pulled it onto the trailer, tilted it right down, let it drain and put it in an unheated garage for the winter. The dealer said it was the thing to do. I am not gonna comment on how Mercs work.
  11. Nice table sinclair...the glass shelf in the bottom is a nice touch. As far as forums go, I learned a pile in a short time just seeing what other people have done.
  12. we need pictures of the set. what woodworking forums do you frequent?
  13. My thoughts are, If you need to ask this, you should just buy it. If you are doing it to save money, you won't. If you want to start wood working, its a good spot to start. Its a good excuse to buy tools. If you don't already have them, they will cost more than the bed itself. Price a can of paint, some glue, dowels, screws, poplar at HD is a crazy price. You don't save money building it yourself, and it will take a pile of time. If you want to give something to your daughter that dad built then use that reason, not saving money.
  14. Thankyou sir. I was wondering how that came out. Glad she was happy. I have a few more in production now. Should be ready in a month or 2
  15. Mine is a woodworking shop the pictures are a month old and lots has changed. I just built the house and shop this summer.
  16. just a cheaper less reliable version
  17. You may know fishing, but you're new at hunting. Pay attention to what people are saying...12 guage lad...12 guage..its the better everything gun
  18. you really gotta make up your mind...like we said...12 guage...you will want to do other stuff once you get a gun...I really like a semi
  19. Actually, I'm from Toronto. I was born there. I don't acually shoot at my neighbors or run into their silly mini vans. If you live in the big populated city you gotta expect a bunch of crappy rules that keep people in line. It sounds bad but like the other guys say, it keeps the renters from covering the street in cars. Sure glad I moved away from there...now I gotta go skin this coon edited to add...just got a phone call from my daughter as i was hitting the post button. Some idiot lowlife just ran into her car in the parking lot and took off
  20. Grab yourself a single shot break action 410. You can get them new for under $200.00 You get great range out of a 410 and its light and easy to carry. plus its very safe for a new hunter to get used to handling a gun
  21. I had a neighbor that parked on the street just because. I had a heck of a time getting my trailer in the yard. He was out one day and I said its a pita. He said well just come ask me to move it. I said, no, I'll just drive into the side of your van if its in the way. So 2 weeks later he comes to my door and asks about the big dent in the side of his van. I just smiled and closed the door. He doesn't park there no more.
  22. that sounds about right. They gotta pretty up the driveways the same as they are doing for lake superior. They are putting windmills all over it to make it look better...oh wait, no, thats to supply power to toronto...talk about not in my backyard. Look at it this way...you can just shoot the guy that complains
  23. You live in the Sault, get a 12 guage. I have a few guns and a 12 does everything. I got my son a single barrel 410 a couple years ago and its great for grouse but for a 1 gun guy you want a 12 to start with. You will be hunting ducks in no time. To learn on you want a pump.

Doesn't it have to be over 26" to earn the name of "Walter"? I think that was the rule at Red Pine
