With the line spooling of so slowly or with a tap of your finger slow up the float to keep the pait a few inches from the bottom. You can retrive the line with a Pull and a slap of the real. But most of all its the fight. Its silent and unforgiving... any mistake you do and the fish will go free... you let it run to much and its gone free... you hold it back to much and its gone free... Life is Life it happens. That post broke a record and alot of information was passed on so that people can make the choise. Its not all about getting the fish its about doing it and being at peace. There are other things that l have created in my life that has infulanced me in my desition. Until Nancy l would have never even thought of having kids. But that shreik you talk about is one of the reasons l dont want kids. Because of Nancy l have the oppritunity to improve the life of Tylor Which l take with great pride in being able to do. Do l regret that l wont have one of my own, not really because my child would be with the ex. l would be defaulting in my child support because of my past catching up with me and HE/She would be living with one of the coldest people l now know which l will take 10%of the blame. l know alot of the great people on OFC. are saying that l dont know what lm missing, well maybe your right but l will never know anyhow. Yes people l was holding my head low. l know the good people on this lovely suite will let it be. Ya right. l think its great to have famous Apples. l will get sniped its just so logical. l have had Two incounters with bears. Respect there size and make noise thrash sticks on bushes, bang pots. The critter that has caused more damage is the damn mice. But its alot easyer to step on a mouse than a bear. Peace Ken

The brown was behind the Salmon thats why l was useing the fly. Eveyone got to see the nice part of the fish. It was in the Mouth in the center away from the lips if it was just breathing so be it but my Prefference is the trout. Peace Ken

It's been 51 time's. l had promised a guy at work to take him fishing but l wasn't much in to it but l took him out to a place l was last Tuesday with Dave and another. Saw about 700 fish that night Salmon. Browns and bows l was in Heaven. Skunked again l was so mad, l have spent so much time and energy into river fishing. What l call a catch, in the mouth, in the mouth, so help me god. Catching a Baby its, not a fish. Like a 1ft. pike is not catching, l want a fight, l want it fair and 99% of the time they are let go. Anyhow. I have taken Lindsey out 3 times already and nothing to write home about. so l took him east were he got his first big fish from the rivers. load of my mind . l caught a 10in bow in the first few drifts, let it go and it never left the water. Lindsey got his salmon about 20 min. later and nothing. l wasn't really fishing. l was just going through the motions, too much on my mind (l get myself into such crap). l Hookend into her with a fly, confidence low, low selfestem everthing againt me. l have watched Dave catch 100d's of fish but something clicked and l started fighting the fish differently, how l held my rod and reel was all new. l started hearing the line get tight on the cp so l let it run, it was easyer to turn the fish with my hand in it's new position. It was about a 10 min. fight and l won. Thank you, thank you. 33 in Salmon, Dont get me wrong l was relieved its now over. So thats 57 days before l got my lake trout and 51 till my salmon, lm starting to think this is reflection on my own life. Boy l suck. Oh the Hat. Been looking for a hat for months got to have a cool hat. Nancy and l went to my folks place for thanks Givin... the colors in North Bay was Amazing. It was Just a cool time with Nancy. As we were heading back down south l saw this Little Candle Decoration Type place, did a u-turn because l knew that l would find my hat. Presto l was right That dosn't happen often. Peace Ken

hahahahaha l have been set up by Nancy she asked me to do that. l had to paddle twice on myside and once on her's or we would have gone in a Zig Zag pattren up the river. l saw 2 games at the ACC before the strike and havent watched hockey on tv since. l watched Antipof*#%$ float all game l have seen water baloons more durible than him. The leafs are slackers. The best Leaf hockey l had seen then never made it to the play offs but no team wanted to play them because they would be in a big hurt with all the checks and board grinding. The Leafs dont have Heart or Grit and until they do l would rather watch Figure Skating at least they try to win. Peace Ken

RE: Lady Evelyn Lake Adventure Oh lm on vacation Yah!!!! oh gotta to go to work in the morning for a presentation. Leaving at 3:00a.m. NO... Left a 1:00 p.m. got there at 7:00p.m. and it was.... raining. Found a lodge at Mowatt's Landing and met the owner Trevor..who gave us an excellent deal on a lodge for the night....it was raining. Just happened to be Trevor's (39th) Birthday and he had noone to party with. Sooo....for a birthday present for someone I never knew I ripped through my whole week's supply of Scotch!!! (Thank God I brought an emergency stash)..18yr dalwinnie had a great bombfire buring.... that cabin was good. Got to bed around 11:00, up early at 6:00 had amazing blueberry pancakes.... raining. Packed the gear to get ready to go...raining...put on another pot of coffee and waited. Rained stopped. Loaded up the canoe...spirits high. Put the canoe in the water stuck the paddle in gave it a push...raining. We'er already wet now...let's go. Paddled up the North Montreal River, stopped, had lunch, paddled up the river again...found a camp for the first night...raining. Next day..stopped raining...yaaayyyy...talking about heading up the river more...raining. Set up tarp city, we are not going anywhere. Ate gourmet the whole entire time there....no fish. But we had crab and smoked oysters. Got some fishing in, caught 3...micro monster pike. Well I caught something Saturday afternoon, clouds moved away and the sun came out....for about an hour, then it was dark..temps starting dropping and because of the rain, we were pretty much damp (cold). Had rain gear, had everything we needed..still cold. Just before bed, looked up in the sky and saw a billion starrrrrrrssss!!! WOW. We are nothing n this planet, we just take up space and wreck the world. Woke up in the moring...good layer of frost on the tent, had to start thinking of heading back. But went fishing....I want bigger fish....Nope didn't happen. Went back, broke camp, loaded the canoe and kayak, and headed back to Mowat's Landing. Boy we really got far that first day....our paddling in the rain took us no-where near where we wanted to go. Took us an hour and 45 minutes to paddle to where we first started off. Wind at our back and going downstream was a breeezzzzeeee. Nancy appreciated it. Went into town for a pizza came back spent one night at Mowat's Landing, had a few pops with Trev and left for Toronto the next day. None of this was planned. From starting off as a two man team, went to a four man team, went to a 3 man team, went to a two man team (never kick Nancy off a trip )... we're now a three man team. Was going to Lady Evelyn but went up the Montreal River instead. Suppose to be camping the first night, ended up stayin at the cabin, suppose to get a good distance on the first day, got nowhere, got nowhere the second day...damn I'm old, out of shape..damn. Nancy was a great trooper in a very controversial environment. She had dome many things and I was very proud of her and on the really cold night she stuck to me like glue. It was tuff on her, she did grin and bear it, probably will never do it again....I think I'll get a motor boat. A plan is a plan and if you have to stick to your plans, no matter what, you are just causing too much stress in your life...go with the flow.
