The dam hasn't been repaired yet, but law suits are pending. The gar we caught were above and below spingbank dam before it was rebuilt. All kinds of cats in the river, There is or was a carp match fishing club that operated on the Thames. We caught a ton of walleyes in the spring south of Delaware before they closed it down.

For smallmouth spinners work well and would likely work for pike as well. Jigs with twister tails work for anything in the Thames. Many smallmouth can be taken on flies, if your into that. I've had my best luck in riffle type water.

I only wore one when I got caught in rough water. I think I would buy an inflatable and always wear it if I was still boating.

6 lb. fireline is stronger than it's rating and will cast better than thicker lines.

I noticed some solar powered critter noise emitters things at Cosco. Claims to eliminate voles ,raccoons etc.

Nano now comes in high vis yellow, but I don't know how well the colour lasts. I use fireline crystal and on my other reels I use mono. You can't use nano in below freezing conditions. As others have stated stay away from fluro for mainline.

I don't believe that the liquids are regulated. If you bought from Gerritt's friend you would be OK , but otherwise you have no idea what you are smoking. My brother in law switched to e-cig with no intention of quitting. He felt he was getting away from the tar in normal smokes. I used Champix to quit. If you're not ready to quit nothing works.
