    Back in 1971 my sister was killed by an impaired driver. The driver was driving a stolen car & had a suspended licence. Because he had many outstanding criminal charges they did not pursue the traffic offences, which has never seemed right to me.

    I've dropped the anchor more than once when it wasn't attached to the boat. That makes you feel stupid.

    Years ago we were coming off the water at Bronte harbour and after loading the boat on the trailer the truck ran out of gas and we couldn't move the outfit until we got a jerry can of gas. The boaters in line to get out of the water were not amused.

    Fireline Crystal doesn't shred as easily as the original fireline.

    I have been getting them every year and I believe they work for me. I also got the shot to help prevent shingles.

    Remember , as of 2016 all seniors must have an outdoor card and fishing licence.

    I did tire changes and rotations for years, but now I call CAA so I can get something out of the fees that I pay. My wife insists on the CAA membership.
