Costco has a good deal on a tent right now,,,large size for 150 bucks i think it was,,,looks like it's made well too!

The best thing you can do is talk to some of the chartr captains and see if they will charter you in your boat,,,thats definatly the way to learn the way that you should fish from your boat,,,it gets a little confusing watching them set out twelve rods,,,lol,,,but either way,,learn from a pro,,,you'll carry that knowlege for the rest of your days and well worth it!! oh ya,,,and get out your wallet,,lol,,,new tackle ain't cheap!!

Well as promissed here are the pics of my latest endevour,,,i'm good to go for the weekend now!!,,,check it out lew,,thanks for the idea! floor all lit up front all lit up little switch to the relay the total cost of this job was around 40 bucks and a couple hours work!

Well just got back in from working on the boat,,,earlier on i went to princess auto to pick up supplies,,,and did i!! lol,,,,anyway i took lew's advice and picked up the orange lights,,(on sale 1.99),,,great except for on thing .... they use a body ground instead of a seperate ground,,,hmmm,,,no good,,,but i did grab somefog lamp that were on sale for like 13 bucks and just finished mounting them underneath my console,,,one on each side,,,works great,,lights up the floor with no light to blind you,!!,, I will add picks later after i get the proper lights for the bow,,thanks again everyone for the advice,,,and would love to see some picks of other mods people have done to make the fishing experience easier!!

Thats what i am looking for lew,,,i just didn't want to be blinded by a strong white light,and if they are not in the way it's not a prob ,,,maybe i'll run down tomorrow to princess auto and pick a couple up,,,if ya don't mind,,,where do you have then situated,,i see the one at the front,,

Ok i have a question for all you night fisherman,,,as the new season is here i would like some suggestions on what types of light you all use to light up your boats at night time,,,i would really like something that can be removable while not in use and to light up the boat to be able to tie line,,,see rods ect,,,but also not be blinding,,,any suggestions?? i mostly still fish at night with a little trolling when i know the lake well!

ok,,,nuber one goto bait is a repala floating #9,,,,troll slow fist thing in the morning and evening,,,after dark jig near moving water,,,,can't tell ya exactly where to fish but it's not far from tamar,,,,,,,oh ya black and silver is the colour for the repala,,,and if you want to get fancy change the back hook to a size smaller,,,,will help with the hook-ups on the whitefish,,,,,now this is what i do in the spring of every year when i go there,,,not sure how much changes during midsummer

OK,,,try this,,,,alot of time the starter motor brushes rust and won't make the initial contact needed to get it to start turning,,try having someone hole the key on and give the starter motor a LIGHT tap on it's side with a small hammer,,,see if that will get ya going,

did you punch a hole in the rubber part of the hose or the aluminum??,,,if it is the rubber part of the hose it can prob be replaced with a new rubber peice for much cheaper,,,what you will have to do is take the hose off and bring it to a hydrolic line place and they should be able to make you up a new hose by replaceing the rubber part,,,i know i have done it here in hamilton,but not sure where you are from,

All i can say is that i can't thank you enough...although i didn't actually catch any myself there is not a better feeling then watching my son catch fish and enjoy it!! I still have memories of my father and myself fishing when i was a child...and i hope this is one of those memories for my son,,,with many more to come,,,thank you steve as my son thanks you with his smile!!!

Don't know if this helps but here ya go,,,i also had the same problem on my vehicle,,,it turns out i had a module on my truck that was part of the trailer connector wiring i had plugged it into another trailer that was shorted and in turn it fried the module giving me the same problem you have!

Sorry to hear about the split-up rick,,,it's never an easy thing,,,glad ya made it through it all,,,i know what it feels like when everything seems to be stacked against you but somehow,sometime it seems to work out for the people that deserve it,,,karma my freind,,,fish on!

sorry ya ain't feelin to well but a few days on the water just might be worth it,,,i know i'd do it in a heartbeat if i could get outta work,,lol,,,,,,great report,,,now go get some rest!!
