Hey guys,,,i know it may not be a big deal but just wondering if peoples opinion's were the same as mine,,, You see this is my delema,,,i pay for wfn, as do most(not sure of the satalite people)...Do they really need to sell half hour air time spots to subsidize the network.... 11. Hey lew,,,10 lb floro is fine if thats what you are comfortable with but for me seems a bit overkill,,,i use 6lb myself for leader material and 25lb for harnesses,,,i've brought in some pretty big fish on 6lb line!
  12. I run the okuma convectors on my boat and am extreemly happy with them,,,for the money thay can't be beat, you wouldn't be disapointed with them!
  13. It all depends on what you want to do...cleaning the throttle bore with carb cleaner is about the only thing that i would recommend and even be carefull doing that to a two stroke...For cleaning the carberator a dismantal and soak is the best way to go.. Now for dcarbonizing the combustion chamber is all together different,,for that i would recommend an approved cleaner in your gas.
  14. I always find it funny how people jump on the band wagon to bash people and just jump right back,,,just a thought,,

  17. I use the 4lb when jiging north for walleye's,,,,i use the swivel anytime i am using a lure for trolling,,,can't stand line twist!
  18. Would just like some opinions on leader tying while using braid...personally i use 4lb florocarbon tied to 6 lb braid with a doulble uni knot....while on some of my trolling rods where i am using braid i will join the floro to braid using a small swivel i believe leaders are seldom used by amature fisherpeople because of the confusion in using them,or they just shy away from the braid ohh ya don't forget about the situations where it is acceptable to tie direct!
  19. Hey farmer,,,i'll be there as long as i remember,,lol,,,memory these days isn't so good,,so a little reminder wouldn't hurt as time approches!!
  20. lol...i don't know if ya have to go to that extreeme,,,but if you take into account in that situation that the baitfish will be blown offshore...all in all nothing is ever written in stone but if ya watch all the signs it gives you a good starting point.
  21. ok this is what i believe,,, winds--- will not affect bite but will tetermine the area of where they are biting,,,(tip--- always fish a windblown shoeline) moon phase--- will have some effect on bite but mostly the time of bite,,,fish will likely eat less during daylight hours as they have ben able to feed all night under a full moon for example barometric pressure---- will have the biggest effect on a fish bite because this indicated to the fish non-feedable times,,,ex,,,thats why before a storm front fish will feed because thay need to hunker down during the storm and not knowing how long it will last they feed to reserve energy during that time just my opinion,,,and information taken from the pro's...i have also just installed a weather sensor on my new humminbird sonar unit to be able to track the bite corralation between baro and bite,,,i'll try to keep a log and let ya know my findings at the end of the year
  22. You wont be dissapointed,,,worth the money if you spend the time out in un-fair weather!
