  1. Ive been going to stormy for the past 5 years, ive never seen this restriction before unless it came to effect this year.
  2. I was at bryers two weeks ago, water levels were down but not bad at all. Fishing was good for walleye, bass and pike. Raised one muskie and lost another. Week after, i was at the west arm (mashkinonje), fishing was very slow. Caught a 32" muskie and had two brutes follow to the boat but wouldnt commit. Me and my brother chuckled as one slowly swam off but went straight into my trolling motor on the bow. Had motor issues the second week so i only fished cross to warren bay.
  3. Must have been a tough decision. Beautiful boat, i am currently at mashkinonje and checked it out with Regan.
  4. If you bought a point 1 and starter kit, all you will need is one t. If you want to save money, the garmin t is a few bucks cheaper, it works fine, just aligns at an angle. And yes a switch is crucial, as the system will always run
  5. I bought the kit, and a lowrance point 1 which had one t and one short cable. I bought one spare t to make it work off amazon.
  6. Thats unfortunate. The hot temps are killing me on the french as well. One follow, and one lost over four days. Ive been skunked on st clair before, not fun after the three hour drive. The smallies cheer me up though.
  7. Deer flies are terrible on the french right now. Mosquitoes surprisingly not bad at all. Just that short period after sundown.
  8. Nice smallies! I have the striker hardwater suit, never had to test it so far luckily.
  9. Good luck! Should be fun.
  10. Looks like a great time. I'll be there in three weeks.
  11. I know a few who have used them, overall consensus is that they liked them but they found they were not hooking up with as many in comparison to the LT frog.
  12. Nice fish! I kept on bringing in pike after pike on my 9" shadzilla. I didn't see anyone else out throwing big rubber.
  13. I just caught a ton of pike. Pretty good sized ones as well. No muskie to be seen. A few oos bass. Fished the entire lake. Damn pike shredded my Shadzilla. Like those lures, first time throwing them, i think they will replace bulldawgs for myself. Definitely the slowest opener ive had in a while.
  14. Ugh, hate the weatherman, everytime i look more rain and now chance of thunderstorms.
  15. Ill be out tomorrow on Balsam, hope the rain holds off
  16. I fish for them until bass opens, i dont even keep em. Ive had success with grubs, lipless cranks and jerkbaits
  17. I also have a lund deep v, so well see. Few years ago i was on rice when it was windy, launch was unprotected and away from dock, it was a nightmare getting the boat back on the trailer. Looks like a strong west wind sunday, so same conditions.
  18. Rain doesn't bother me, just getting the boat back on the trailer lol. Boat is like a kite. I'll just have to find a more protected launch
  19. Yep, unfortunate, may call off my plans for Sunday.
  20. I just had my cover made by covers unlimited, no issues. Good work, great price.
  21. As others said, fish n chip in settings. I hate navionics, got a hotmaps platinum two years ago, and of course you cant do the 99 dollar upgrade to navionics+, but with every other possible card you can, even competitors cards. What sense does that make. So, now i have to buy another navionics + or sell my gen1 hds8 and upgrade to share maps
  22. Ive never really fished for panfish. Got one 5 years ago, a crappie, that was 15" on a bass jig lol. This was caught on north pigeon. The size shocked me. Ive used 3" grubs before with some success, should i be downsizing? May take a friend to catch a feed, maybe the first time i keep a catch!
  23. It isnt too difficult to disable all the unwanted stuff. Now you know why the upgrade was free, they probably make more money with the customers information then they wouldve selling the OS. I have yet to see a PC upgrade to windows 10 on its own though.
