Looking to add a gps for my sled, not sure if i really need it. Good insurance if it's white out on the lake. Used my phone this past weekend which was ok, but a permanent unit would be easier. Having trail maps will be another plus although i only occasionally ride them. Any recommendations on a unit? I think i may just try to get away with an auto unit. One thing im not sure of, will it show my track log of a trip on the lake? Considering there are no maps of the lakes itself. Thanks.

Nice review. Insulated makes a big difference. My clam pegs are useless, so i carry a drill. Another option thats really quick if your having issues.

I bought my first new to me snowmobile last month, decided on a skidoo modular 3 helmet. Its main use was for ice fishing, but since the ice is still sketchy, can somebody recommend me a place 1-2 hours north of Toronto where i can take it out, from my understanding everything that i can find requires a trail pass which i have no problem picking up. Thanks

I tried the modular 2,3. Liked the helmet. Do you use the electric often? It seems like many have little to no issues without it.

Those ckx helmets, how were they in sizing? From what i can see online, they run small. Its too bad i didnt try any modulars at royal the other day. Im looking to purchase online. Might have to head back, probably shouldn't be guessing my size.

I have two split grips, both nrx rods. I prefer full cork 100%. Especially on the dobyns rods, balance is amazing, something the previous shimano crucials lacked, havent handled the current models though.
