Where would you pick up spinner bait tails? And Dozer you never find any difference,interesting.I thought the tail would look like legs and the frog type popper would be complete. Thanks Guys.

After yesterdays fishing on the lake,a buddy of mine was getting a lot hits and misses on a hula popper.Knowing I have some somewhere at home I found them. The large mouth were going crazy after this thing. All of my poppers have damaged or missing yellow strands of tail.I tried my live target frog,My top water white buzz bait with the two prop type blades,not a chance. Where do you get replacement tails?. Went to CT today picked up a couple new white spinner baits(lol),and a couple leaders and noticed the poppers are around $10 a piece. I have 5 that need there tails replaced.I noticed on my damaged ones theirs a band around the tails, but I'm sure it must be glued on as well.If I have to buy 1 or 2 I will ,but wouldn't mind trying to fix these ones if possible.Thanks .

Could you use a treeless lure a as opposed to a weedless lure?:lol:lol.Seriously,how do you keep your line from getting cut on the bark?.

Picked up a 3/8oz Big O smokin joe shad Friday.Casting with 30lb braid on a bait caster with great distance.Lots of fish,and the 3/8oz weight really helps with the distance.The rod 6' MH and a caenan reel.

You asked the question,and you rec'd some great ideas so far . Experiment and see what works for you.

I catch a lot just the way they are. I like the 3/8oz. White the best.

Why would the old boys grab them by the eyes if they were going to release them?.I know years ago people did some crazy things,but now I just don't know why. they did .

Well said!!,using a scissor lift,forklift cage,I always tie off to a ceiling support whether running pipe or changing lights.I think I would really," crap" my pants if something happened and hanging 25-30' from the ground. But I'd live another day.
