  1. It's a 8 weight set up,9' leader and tippet to size. I guess it would sink fast, and have to be ready to retrieve?
  2. Picked up a couple of wooly buggers and such. Read the packaging and couldn't find out what they were good for. After getting home and used 'THE GOOGLE" LOL.,found out they are wet. Any problem using them with a dry set up/floating ?.Thanks.
  3. Friday off,I heard the hatch is still on.Lots of flies to give it a try.Water should be somewhat lower,A little wading,a little fly and a little let's see what happens.LOL.
  4. When I bought my new cx7,they said don't over rev and don't stay at a constant speed for1000km's.That was about it.Oh,and change oil often because of the turbo. All makes sense to me.Really no babying.
  5. Pool won't be ready till end of the month. That's one heck of a offer for the eats. Hopefully we get out in the boat real soon.
  6. Actually I've heard that as well, also if it's going to blow,it will in the first year .or first few times out.
  7. Hopefully as well as I did float fishing.
  8. I can see down the road that happening, but your right ,not near as difficult as it is sometimes told. You have to remember that the fly is weightless, and it's the line your casting.Once I figured that out away we go. I'm thinking, waders and a lot of real estate is somewhat needed, and not lovers creek.lol:rofl2:
  9. We will too. just like a kid in a candy store,to have 12' or more out and than pull another 20' or more off,and gone on your second follow through, wild, what a feeling.
  10. I think your right,thanks.
  11. To keep up the riding and walking trails take a lot more to maintain than "A normal" fisherman walking to a bank and throwing a line in. I stress the"normal leave the area better than you found it angler". Having said that I almost think were a minority.
  12. Just want to thank you guys for your help. Went to a park this afternoon and within 1/2hour had the line flowing through my hands.40' no problem at all.Wanna go 60' I think so.What a feeling not relying on the lure ,only the wf line.Another whole new beginning. Thanks again.

With the gear for a lot smaller fish. What has happened that we can't show a picture under these circumstances.I would love to see a picture of this beautiful beast!!.jmo.
