  2. Nice looking fish, always had good luck for salmon with the panther martin 20's and 28's. Similar size and style. The salmon seem to be really aggressive towards them.
  3. Pretty cool Ron:good:
  4. I love happy,but happy costs a heck of a lot!!.
  5. I also use my little finger to control the pin spinning. If it is too far away how will that effect slowing down the run on?
  6. This year again I damaged a prop going out between the markers from the river to Nottawasaga bay in Wasaga. The G bay waters are even lower than last year. Be really carefull!!I don't know how bigger boats than mine do it with the wave swells.
  7. I guess you've fished Kempenfelt?,not Simcoe. The Ontario record is yet to come!!
  8. Go have fun with whatever. As said earlier, things used to be quite simple.:clapping:Or did I say that,:rofl2:lol.
  9. You will have to do your homework on Simcoe, rock drop offs deeper water,if you don't know the lake, can be a bit of a challenge.
  10. Interesting question, that's how much your ahead of me. That thought,I'm no where near that ,not even close . lol..
  11. Good for you guys!!!Must of been a awesome feeling. I'm still looking for my first 40'+. LOL.
  12. Good advice!!!,right on the money.
  13. Things were a lot more easier back than. But we have learned a lot over the years to try and preserve are fishery if not meant for the table. A decent fish fight unless it's a" boot", should never last longer than 5 mins for fresh water fish IMO. Nothing wrong with a good min or so fight. Than to see the fish released to live another day, well that's the icing on the cake again IMO.
  14. Heard on Sunday, little bit of a slow start so I'm hearing.
  15. Looks like nice water Miro!,to bad the weather didn't co-operate.
  16. I would of hoped so by now. lol. Best site around by far!!!!!!!
  17. I would think those boots are a different strain than Bills!!!! lol.Sure look warm Mike .
  18. Spiel that rod looks amazing!!!!,I will also see you in the see able future when i can grab a couple more decent accounts. Working on it hard.
  19. Maybe a nice guy but,a little about yourself goes a long way. It can be a long day without the right company. Just sayin!. A little gas money also helps a lot as mentioned. Good luck.
  20. Your exactly right! Over two years live bait free!.
  21. I second the spinner bait, How about a 1/2oz white terminator. Great for bass and pike. The little extra weight can get you down lower if you need to.
  22. Nice of you to point that out. I saw that as well. We all make mistakes from time to time with good intentions. One time I had a stringer of fish that were released, and nobody noticed they weren't hung from the gill, but just inside there bottom lip. All were good. Made a nice picture shot.! Oh,nice fish by the way!!!!!!!
  23. I second that. I lost another today. My hopes of getting it back is if someone catches that log.lol. Just another day!.
  24. After that trip, how can you guys find that thrill again fishing our tribs?. I know loving to fish is one thing, but the excitement of not knowing what's ahead must be unbelievable. Don't mean to take anything away from our tribs. They are great, but?????.
  25. On one of my tool boxes, the red sticker says it perfectly. "bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work". Works for me.!! Although a bit more work right now would be good lol.
