  1. Just back, weather was not on our side but we managed two bows in the 3 lb range. I will return.
  2. Print is coyote or fox depending on size, most likely coyote. How large is the pile of scat,
  3. I was there two weeks ago, the jig 3-4" Gulp minnow did very well for my dad and I. 4 smallies, 2 large and 3 walleye along a weed line 14 fow.All in the 1.5 to 3 lb. range, lots of little stuff too.
  4. I am sorry guy's, allow me to rephrase. I may be traveling in the general direction towards the southern portion of Georgian Bay. At said time I may be inclined to take part in the ancient art of angling. If someone else has had such a desire and would share a humorous antic dote it would be appreciated. If not so be it, I would be happy to add another comment to the forum upon my return. Many Thanks STJ
  5. Heading up to Meaford for a few days. Just wondering if much has been going on? Any news? I will post on Friday how we did on our outing. Thanks
  6. I would go with Musky Mike on this one, I have heard Musky guys pick up some big eyes when they are trolling large bait. Having said that I picked up a couple of nice eyes in the Kawarthas on Wednesday on a little jig tipped with a Power minnow. Picked up at least one of everything that day. A good day on the water.
  7. I also think you are light on the tackle, It would be fine for walleye which there are also lots in Pigeon but having said that it is not uncommon to have a musky take a walleye on the way in. Great fun.... not much left of the walleye after that though.
  8. Should be Fishing

  9. Any word on the Port Maitland area? Hope to be down there soon.
  10. I have launched form Bing, nice looking camp ground. The water in the channel around the island is pretty muddy, great for channel cats. I normally head out to the river and aim for the lake. River is low now so be careful. Even in the river you can go from 15ft to 2ft from one side to the other. all the above fish are there. I read there are over 40 spieces in that part of the grand. Good luck I will be back that way as soon as the walleye start to move in from the big water.
  11. I was out in 60 fow a week ago, marked some bait fish but not much else. I was told they are still @ 80 + feet. There must be some movement if you getting them in 30.
  12. I am north of Guelph but I travel all over. The GRAC reservoirs are getting pretty low and the fish are boiled with this hot weather. Just looking to get out on some bigger water as I wait for the fall season to begin. I think the walleye and perch in Erie are still pretty far out, thinking of the Kawartha lakes for this week.
  13. Just wondering if there are any walleye being caught with all this warm weather? I have some time off and I would like to get a bit of practice in before the fall run starts. I have heard they are out deep in Erie but i don't have enough boat for that. Thanks
