  1. Have a great day Art...
  2. Great photo Rob, welcome aboard!
  3. I was pretty lucky as a young guy. I grew up in the UK just a stones throw from some of the best brown trout waters in the country and a quick drive (or bus ride)to the sea. I was float and fly fishing for browns by the time I was 9 or 10 and casting off the local beaches for cod in the winter and out fishing the wrecks in the north sea in the summer. Every day was memorable, but one spring day we were out in my uncle's boat and a typical north sea gale blew up. We were about 10 miles out so we needed to get back in a hurry. By the time we caught sight of the harbour we were riding over 30' waves. Scariest ride I have had in 50+ years.
  4. Playing cards and gettin' fat ain't so bad Cliff when you have a view like that....Have a great weekend and give Sue a hug and kiss for me for Mom's day...they will still be there next weekend.
  5. Awesome area but can be very unforgiving. Remember it's the ones that you don't see that bite!

  11. Naaaaa, he has enough problem with a zipper!
  12. On their honeymoon, the blonde bride slipped into a sexy nightie and, with great anticipation, crawled into bed, only to find her new Catholic husband had settled down on the couch. When she asked him why he was apparently not going to make love to her, he replied, 'It's Lent.' In tears, she sobbed, 'Well, that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! Who did you lend it to, and for how long?'
  13. Great pics...seems like the bite just before and after dark is the best..
  14. It was a great day with quality fish, "our guide" knows his business well and all 3 big one's fell short of what it would take.Just an FYI, there has already been a 20+ pounder over the scales. Unless we were close to that, no point IMHO to weigh anything!
  15. Here are the two photo's I got on my phone camera Cliff. As you said awesome day where the weather held until we got off the water. Thanks to Steve (Fishmaster) for a great day as always. Another great day with OFC friends..
  16. You hiring an assistant go-for/waterboy/makeup artist
  17. In my humble opinion you get more of the dealers attention and stand a better chance of a deal come late summer or early fall. The downside is that inventories are lower than they are now and you may need to compromise. Personally, I hate trying to compete with tire kickers at shows. They are a great place to take a look-see and narrow down your selection but I wouldn't buy during all of that hype.... Welcome aboard by the way. I have a Pro 174SS that I bought new in 2008. Shoot me a PM and I will give you some insight into the dealers that I shopped.
  18. Nice shameless plug there Don, I agree with you..........
  19. Although I have a wireless MotorGuide on my boat, (everything pretty much owned by Brunswick these days), with both the wireless foot control and the key fob control, I prefer Minn Kota. Most Minn Kota models are actually "made in" Mankato MN.
  20. Yeah Dave, I agree with "mahman", we seem to be in the dark ages here in Dundas.......no Dave cutout here unless they added it today...
  21. No, no Roy "Goat" not "Oat".......they'll eat anything...lol
  22. Ya don't eat 'em Aaron, you smoke 'em..........
  23. Look great Steve, let's hope the water looks like that next Friday. I remember not being able to hold bottom last year even with 3 anchors out!
